Colussos club wanted a million pound if I remember correctly for him to join us on a perm which is why the deal never happened. 
 

I tracked him down a few years ago for a video for PTB, still mentions about loving Oldham and wishes he could have stayed.

Difference being Thommo was still employed by the club and was only called in as Interim.

Went the other week and parked in the club car park but I doubt it will be in use tomorrow for fans. Anyone have a clue where to park around there? 

I mentioned about fan engagement on next seasons kits, as I don’t think they are as good as they could have been given this one is suppose to be modelled on the 1990 home shirt. Haven’t demanded anything, it is interesting how things are twisted though… 

We as a fan base seem incapable of others having a difference of opinion. I don’t like it personally. Doesn’t mean I’m moaning just I think they could have done better. If you can’t have opinions sites like this would be pointless.

Can’t be signing lads like that could potentially lose him for free to HMP if he does something like that again. Fair play to the owners giving this one a wide birth.

For what it’s worth from today, my take… thought we lacked a decent RW, CF, CB to partner Hogan and RB. Our tempo is so slow and lacks any intensity to advance up the field. Think this is more about the quality of players involved rather than it not being drilled into them.

Think Tollitt would be good coming in from the left as he has pace and clearly got an eye for goal as Hope and Stobbs were non existent. Burgess should be starting, tempo and quality on the ball increased when he started demanding the ball and we also need two up front, at present without two up top I struggle to see where the goals are coming from. Fondop apart from tussling there was very little from him in terms of quality and looked way off fitness. Luamba looked lively needs a goal to kick on but he put effort in. 
New lad Cooper looked the type of player we are missing who will kick people but also get involved with the play slightly sloppy with his play but he is still young. 
 

Hopefully shez can bring in some quality loans to bolster the squad as it’s needed. Torquay here we come!

Couple of thoughts…

No 16 Charlie Cooper put a good couple of strong challenges in. 
Hogan you see the experience he brings. 
Stobbs final ball from inplay action still hasn’t improved. If that does he could be a very decent player at this level. 
Sheron looks very composed and intelligent which was good. 
Burgess looks a real signing. Still young and gets quite annoyed if the ball doesn’t land for him but his quality on the ball was there to see. Could be our key man this year. 
 

A lot of work to do but you could see that extra bit in the players today. Hoping for some extra players coming in to strengthen though
