Looking at what DK and DH already have to work with before the transfer window opens. Coleman, B.Wilson, J.Wilson, T.Dieng, Mills, Kelly, Jones, Winchester, Philliskirk, Poleon and Forte. That's a fairly strong starting 11 right there regardless of transfers. If DK can add a few others and perhaps keep hold of everyone (bar say Kelly who will no doubt go to Barnsley), with the right tactics and management, perhaps we could be on to something next season...

I am sceptical, annoyed, angry and quite frankly P*ssed off at this appointment. BUT, like when you fall in love with that 'special some one', I fell in love with latics all them years ago. I will stand by this, just like I did with Penney and the rest over the years. Bring on the season!!!!!

No its a press briefing - LP will have highlights no doubt. Barnsley did it live online stream when they appointed LJ, not sure we will be doing something similar however..

The forum is of mixed emotion right now surrounding the upcoming appointment of Darren Kelly and Dean Holden as his number 2. I am not sure if any director, SC himself, or our fans representative etc. reads this forum, so I figured a poll to statistically show the fans perception of this is a much easier read if they do. The appointment (despite the fact I will support the guy and team having already bought my ST) is in my opinion disrespectful to every single one of us paying fans and this poll is an opportunity to show the fans perception based on the many users of this forum. Given the number of names thrown around, including Dowie effectively coming out and insisting he wants the job, the board and SC need to explain yet another "cheap as chips" decision. OF THE 287 VOTES CAST as of May 6th 2015 (Post Official Appointment) 8.71% are in favour of SC appointing Darren Kelly as Manager 66.9% are NOT in favour of SC appointing Darren Kelly as Manager 24.39% are unsure on the matter 33.45% will still plan on purchasing a ST/ will frequently POTD 6.62% having already purchased a ST will rarely use it/ seek refund 23.34% will POTD for the odd significant game (incl. cup games) both home and away 5.92% will boycott OAFC indefinitely 8.36% will wait to see how DK and DH do after a number of games 22.30% whom have bought a ST/ normally POTD, will continue to attend with this matter having no effect. Reminder that you can DELETE your VOTE(S) and then re submit your vote if you have a changed opinion/perspective on the managerial appointment. This can also be done for your position on whether you will be in attendance NEXT SEASON.

I wonder if SC next managerial appointment will be someone with a good football manager career history...

Assuming Darren Kelly will take the realm Tuesday/ Wednesday (given tomorrows bank holiday), when do you think the release list will be announced and who will be on it? I'd assume Holden will have made these decisions ready for Kelly perhaps, unless Kelly has been at games and has already thoroughly assessed the squad.

Anyone know what the refund policy on season tickets is? I feel robbed by this apparent incoming appointment. I've shown more ambition buying Andrex Toilet paper for the bog than Asda's own branded!!! Disappointed...

I was told an 'executive and corporate catalogue' would be published with all this in. Also told that a couple of boxes will be made available for fans such as birthdays etc. I expect however that all this will be revealed come close season
