  1. korey looks like he wants out now the way he is playing be better at right back he was going back there to pick the ball up from connor all day long its no wonder we have nothing in the centre of the park, another question does anybody have any footage of connor brown going down the right and knocking a cross in ? two defensive midfielders and fullbacks who play 90 minutes in there own half isnt attractive to watch.
  2. shouldnt be a problem for us to stand or indeed block all the fire exits in the rre when we return on tuesday night then !!!
  3. Anybody ? Totally dejected after that, we have gone from a team playing well and getting beat to a team playing bad and getting beat, fullbacks dreadful, lightweight up front too many not putting it in korey, philly pulling out of challenges, its nothing i havent said before but that manager and group of players will take us down, it aint good enough average height of our team must be 5 foot 6 it looked literally men against boys today, the quality barring harkins has gone especially at fullback, mills tarky kusunga and lanzoni or that load of chaff today ? see rooney scored again today to rub the salt in and finally whats wrong with koreys attitude on the pitch he needs to man up and do his job not spend hallf the game moanin with anyone who will listen it might actually improve his game because today he was dire half hearted and had his toblerone boots on, other than that shot he did zilch.
  4. print something out hand it out at games let the fans know about it, have playershare membership set 10% aside for a monthly draw im sure there is lots more and this forum probably only captures a similar audience of latics fans anything to help it along and grow has to be a good thing.
  5. go down ??? what fan wants to see there team go down, revenue would fall and theres no guarantee we would come up again, id settle for top 6, bottom 4 - never.
  6. didnt say its the only way but it may help stewards ruin it for some jobsworths at the best of times.
  7. wilson at cov, forshaw for brentford and wells at bradford now huddersfield.
  8. head high tackle at Chesterfield ? how did he get away with step ladders on the pitch ???
  9. LJ has challenged fans to come up with new and inventive songs to sing on matchdays, can I make a suggestion to improve the atmosphere tell some of the stewards to get to :censored:, heard the best one yet this week, the young lads having a sing back at the Gillingham game where told to sit down and face the pitch or they would be kicked out, the fanny with the long hair in the rre should get a life a few stewards are killing the atmosphere at games thats for sure. Would also help if they reintroduced a safe standing area to make the stewards redundant.
  10. been to 30 first team games 10 wins 8 draws 12 defeats will prob go to the rest this season barring Colchester, also enjoy watching reserves and youth team as well.
  11. this stat is as useful as the one which used to tell us how much more possesion or how many more shots we had even though we would get beat every week. only stat what goes in the book is the points weve got and hopefully we can get to the 50 point mark sooner or later
  12. okay but we are supposed to be building for the future baxter, tarky smith when he goes are being replaced with journeymen and stop gaps that cant be argued fans are just finding it hard to swallow at the moment the crowds are reflecting that.
  13. my opinion of him is of a good talker, we are nearly in March and we are scratching our heads as to why we are so inconsistent yet we let players go with ability and seem to be left with a squad full of players with issues hardly the foundations for a rosy future.
  14. Give us something to sing a bout then, give them a glass of whatever the reserves had yesterday, wanted it and tempo from the start, they pressed the ball and worked the shrews team right from the start, didnt have ability but had some heart, too many times this season we are done early on cos the opposition want it more was the same tuesday night.
  15. players do tend to acknowledge the followings away from home more and to be fair LJ nearly always does, last couple of games he hasnt though and in the last two home games only a couple of players have acknowledged at all (one was harkins) two of the main players who used to acknowledge the fans have unfortunately gone rooney and tarky, korey doesnt seem to care for the support too much which for a captain is poor form
  16. shouldnt even be talked about in the same sentence as Cloughie and I mean Nigel not Brian!!!
  17. lowerhouse pub derker have bus 07791017314, think its £10, bluebelle whitehart and riflle range sometimes have bus or minibus all worth an ask.
  18. if the measly amount received for tarky was to finance 3 mediocre signings and service the debt we are in more trouble than i thought. If thats the case and we are a couple of hundred grand from going under why didnt Mr 'self-serving' Corney consider letting somebody else have a go ? It says a lot when the mans ambition runs to getting the club to Wembely and indeed he may have his wish when we run out in the FA Vase final in a few years time. The parallels with Dickov are there for all to see a chairman who falls for patter, a rookie manager who makes mistakes along the way who is using us as a stepping stone to his next project who talks the talk but struggles to walk the walk, crowds of 2700 a team that cant score more than one goal 95% of the time, quality players replaced by chaff, we could go on and on the parallels are there for all to see if the happy clappers wanna see that as progress I respect that but to me its we are where we are - its become the norm and acceptable.
  19. sorry 2-2 a little lucky to sneak a draw to be honest.
  20. rhys and mellor only plus points for me, kissock had plenty of energy but seemed to be trying a little too hard give the ball away in important areas more than once very nearly leading to goals, millar hasnt trained on seemed to struggle even at this level going down too easy he was ineffective, of the rest pritchard again caught the eye and george edmundson took his chance well. going back to mellor he was solid good distribution and was always looking to be involved hasnt harmed his chances played at left back and played first hour or so, turner has a touch of class doesnt do much off the ball but comes to life in possesion, seems quiet and not as confident as some but has real nice touch, ability and an eye for goal, goal was ball over the top outpaced centre half before rounding keeper for an easy finish, one for next season I would say with some conditioning and a pre season could be a real good find.
  21. gotta laugh reading the Chron excuses excuses, injuries led to the changes, can I ask one question why are the two dropped players on the bench ? the other is why do we have a manager intent on destroying players confidence we saw it with scmeltz, rooney, mellor, genseric, JCH and now its winchesters turn in the spotlight all with there faults and a manager who seems to have none.
  22. rooney has players around him at aberdeen who can cross a ball thus utilising his strengths, he didnt fit into LJ 'vision' but knows where the goal is when given the chance, expecting him to run the channels is a waste of time and to a degree we are asking stead to do exactly the same thing width is whats needed, fullbacks comfortable in possession is needed but as we are unlikely to get them things are unlikely to improve and finishing 18th in lge1 is now deemed acceptable for some.
