Id say so how else will they fund it ?

His goals against ratio to games played in the last calender year was the second best of all League 1 keepers, just goes to show how some see the game differently, he makes mistakes show me a keeper who doesnt but take away the games Kenny played this season and we have one of the best defensive records in the league. It baffles me what some fans expect when we pay players peanuts.

Imagine if we had managed to keep Tarky to play alongside Wilson now that would of been a pairing for the future.

Even for Swindon he only played when he fancied it, is a player whose likely to disrupt the team along the way worth it ?

Mills should be straight back in for me its a coin flip at RB between Brown and Wilson.

AMS will be out for 2-4 weeks he tweaked his hamstring yesterday, Mellis also has a little niggle which stopped him from starting yesterday, one thing we do need is attacking options we look a little thin on the ground up front.

Had a chance to meet this guy yesterday seems a nice enough guy and was getting around the ground chatting to fans before the game yesterday, he has a tough job but I wish him well.

Don't know if it was before snowball gate or just after but punk man was stood up behind the net giving out his usually grief to away fans and GK and all the orange coat brigade materialised and he was asked to stop?

Banter and interaction with away fans isnt allowed at BP, but not to worry we have plenty of fans wanting to pay £22 and sit in there seats in silence to take the places of those told to shut up and sit down who have now decided theyve had enough of being treated like school kids.

Good bit of captaincy by Kelly when we went two up and everything was getting a bit tasty,He went round every player getting them to focus and not get caught up in Carrol's little rage storm.

Seems to be an untouchable, the golden boy of the squad, in plenty of games he is ineffective yet Winchester always seems to be the one to make way. For the position he plays in our team he just doesnt do enough for me goals or assists.

JPT doesn't count.

Excellent result. Reasonable performance. I thought Forte and Winchester were superb. Keeper did well.

 

Every game we've had a keeper make a debut this season we've won 3-0.

Fair point. However since returning he's actually backed up his inclusion with better performances. Mills is a tough act to follow and on the wrong side of the pitch even you can't deny he's done a really excellent job to fill his boots.

 

I can't recall seeing a full back so positively involved in a match since the Kieran Lee days, with Brown at Gillingham.

Imagine the joy Mills would of had in that game then.

Even though he's our best defender, is it the end of the world? Kusunga, Elokobi, Dieng, Lockwood can all play there, and would give us some financial leeway to bring in a striker.

 

Another LJ success story too. JCH, Korey and likely Wilson all brought in by LJ and gone on to better clubs. He also sold Tarky and Jose. We look an attractive option for cast offs and youngsters trying to get a second break (bar the Ched debacle....)

Fair comment but losing J Wilson will be a big loss Id expect them to get 500k for him though surely ? By far our most mobile defender and tons of ability he will be hard to replace, maybe thats why the bottom lips been out the last 6 weeks as he been playing up to get a move ?

Be a great signing but would he play for £600 a week ?
