  1. Sorry but Barry Jnr stated on twitter "The Trust are there to support the owner make the best out of the time they are owners of our fooball club". No mention of representing the fans. No mention of challenge.
  2. What it is willing or not willing to do I presume you mean. It could carry on, lick arse, exist, keep the owners sweet or it could be a challenging presence and try to represent the views of the growing majority of fans. If the Trust wanted to they could organise protest, action but they chose not to. There are no rules on what they can and can't do.
  3. A mildly worded statement from the Trust. That is hardly having a go is it? Urging people to get together and discuss things. It is nowhere near where most fans think we should be at given the shambles going on. Given Barry Jnr has had the opportunity to be face to face with the Lemon brothers I somehow doubt the tone of those conversations have been anywhere near 'having a go' levels. Those two will not tolerate challenge therefore the trust being on the board is pointless. Worth stating the views of the trust may not be the views of Barry Jnr. I believe we have seen evidence of heads turning once they get onto the board.
  4. He definitely did fill his face and say how wonderful the service was, we definitely don't have evidence he's had a go at AL. No evidence to suggest at all that Barry Jnr would put his place on the board at risk. Actions speak louder than the odd tweet. He chose to sit in there lapping it up and advertising how great it was. Sums it all up Trust wise. Suggest one thing but always always roll over.
  5. And on the age thing, if you are 20 years old go and watch City or United. You've missed our golden period. Do yourself a favour, it's not too late
  6. It's time the trust get Barry Jnrs head literally out of the gravy and make a stand. The club is heading down hill far faster than it did under TTAs. The latest release from FLG clearly shows there is no real issues for the club using the North Stand. The Trust are there to represent the fan but at the moment they seem more intent on kissing arse and as Barry Jnr said himself "advise the owner". They need to listen to the fan and IMO get behind the FLG. I'm not going, many aren't going, the issue will be apathy and people won't care if we go bust. Corney was a slow death, this fella is going to leave us fucked. They don't care about the fan IMO, they don't care about the reputation of the club and i believe they don't overly care about the product on the pitch.
  7. Corney managed to get loans against the club didn't he. No reason why AL cant do the same. These 2 or 3 year deals that have been handed out on stupid money need paying monthly. If he fucks off in January they'll still need paying long term. Once the Edmondson money and season ticket money are gone, bearing in mind we've no real corporate monies coming in then we'll see real issues. If we go early in the cups i think AL will be gone before the seasons out.
  8. At least Bury got a promotion. We are going to get fucked over to finish 12th in league 2. Typical Latics. Kind of hope Bury go bust so the EFL and FA are forced to further protect clubs from the sort of owners we are enduring.
  9. This. I believe the club will be left with massive debts and contracted wages when him and his brother walk away. All the debt will be with OAFC and he will be accountable for nothing on the other side of the world. The only hope of us not becoming the next Bury is that the FLG are going to own the ground and therefore be able to catch the club when the rug gets pulled / the debts burst the lemmys little game.
  10. Take some medicine you poorly old man. You're letting yourself and your family down here.
  11. Not sure which is more embarrassing, the running of our club commercially or Lag's recent posts on this thread.
  12. He's a great signing and anyone pulling anything negative out of it is poorly.
  13. Not sure why the club would feel the need to make an announcement on hospitality not being in the North Stand?
  14. This is how they will end up owning the club. He can't pay his bills, simple as. Unlike Corney AL wont be able to ask the landlords for help. We get the club back in one piece. Win.
  15. The owner has decided to not allow the fans to use a stand he's sold them a ticket for. I'd say they should ask for a refund. Head out of the sand time.
  16. I hear they'll not be offering refunds. Hilarious if true. No more money to the lemmys.
  17. It could well be that if he opens the ground that the FLG can allow people into the boxes. If the stand is closed then it may be no one can watch the game. Total guess but it may be the case that the whole stand is available and if he wont sign the deal then the landlords may use it. Only financial punishment will push AL to sort this. All this 100% the budget will be bigger is just total bollocks and the club is being rinsed for all it's got IMO.
  18. They'll still be getting money from functions, the gym, the fans bar. OAFC will lose more in lost corporate tickets, season ticket refunds and possible ticket loss (should we draw a big side in a cup). If he is trying to smoke them out after they have agreed a 7million deal to buy it then he has less brains than a pork pie.
  19. It is a bit odd we are willing to upset fans over such an issue with us having a bigger budget. But eh up lads, no matter what stands are open the players on the over inflated 2 or 3 year deals will still be getting paid by the OAFC current account. They will then still be giving a cut to their agents, who knows what % that may be, who knows what agency that will be. Makes you think.
  20. It is similar, 4% higher but more avenues for the club to make money according to the FLG. I would ask anyone with a North Stand ticket should they be moved to ask for a full refund. This is the only way this will be sorted out.
