  1. It depends if it is AM or PM as the rules change at precisely 11:59:59 which is followed by a period where all loan activity is banned at 12:00:00 until the "window" opens again at 12:00:01
  2. So to summarise your point..... A+B+C > A and A < A+B+C but under X, A+B+C ~ A Unless I am mistaken
  3. I stand corrected. It does indeed state that the contract has been terminated, but I dont think he will have necessarily had a big pay out.
  4. White can play either wing, left back, wing back or centre mid Lee can play anywhere in midfield or defence except centre half Taylor can play either wing, centre mid or upfront Evina can play left back or left mid Alessandra wide mid or upfront plus Millar and Morais Im not going to lose any sleep over an average utility player leaving a treatment table free for someone else
  5. Agreed, but I also dont think it is beyond the wit of even a footballer to know that we havent got any money. Player - "I want to leave" Latics - "OK then, good luck" Player - "you need to pay up my contract (or at least 3 months, cos Singe said you have to)" Latics - "Weve got no money to pay off players, sorry. You'll have to stay and fight for your place on the bench for the stiffs" Player - "Sod this, I'm off. There's another club who actually wants me and I get chance to get goal/win/appearance money" Latics - "OK, we'll agree to cancel (not terminate) your contract. Good Luck and make sure you score against us when you come back - everyone does"
  6. Not sure the contracts were paid off or if they were just ripped up to allow them to join another club as they have become free agents.
  7. Mower Monkey Leaves Latics. Must be a slow news day.
  8. There is a limit to the number of loanees you can have per match day team (or is it squad?) of 5. We have Mvoto Trotman Evina White Touncara and now Amos Does this mean that we will be signing one of the loanees permanently I wonder.
  9. .............and the winner of the Goal Keeping Auction is 20 year old Ben Amos from Salford. Ben's favourite player is (not) Ruben Hazell. Congratulations Ben.
  10. Whatever next Dan? Auction to play in goals for Latics......Oh, perhaps that's already been done
  11. Having looked at the Footy Mascot website, it seems that some of the money raised stays with them, some goes back to Latics and some goes to charity. Currently, the only way to be included in the raffle to be mascot is to be a Boundary Blues Member and be at either the End of Season or Christmas party (unless I am mistaken). I suppose that having an auction can therefore achieve a number of positives. Money for Latics Money for Charity Gives more kids the chance to be mascot (something I am sure that my boy will never ever forget doing) The thing that concerns me the most, is whether this has been done with the prior knowledge and agreement of the Boundary Blues team. I'm sure that Lisa will come on here and give us her view at some point.
  12. No. I'd refer to have a season ticket but can't justify potentially paying more than I would if I paid on the day depending on the number of rearranged games and whether I am able to make it. I wish to attend all matches, but can't guarantee that I can.
  13. Of course. But I dont want it moved to Failsworth to allow the owners to sell of the land where BP is stood and do one into the sunset with their pockets bulging. Do you still want a club?
  14. There is no option on this poll that says No, Because I have to work for a living and might not be able to get good value out of a half Season ticket if too many home games are rearranged to Tuesdays (.com)
  15. Club Crest yes (providing its reasonably priced) Players no I was contemplating setting up a projector onto the wall with pencils and paint and brushes to do the Crest on Mini-me's wall, so providing its not too expensive and would remove from the wall in the future without taking all the paper and/or plaster with it, I'd certainly have one. A Latics crowd scene could also be a good idea for the bathroom wall and a Pukka Pies one for the dining room
  16. Should have been a rate your preference 1 for your favoured time 2 for the inbetween one 3 for your least favoured I dont think we should play it on the Friday - its playing into their hands
  17. Good shout. Palmer Ritchie Hallom Hoolickin Kowenicki
  18. Super Simon Stainrod away at Blackburn, night match, sent the keeper the wrong way by dropping his shoulder running along the deadball line and smashed it into the goal in front of a big Latics away following in the Darwen End. Its a moment that I will NEVER forget (unless I develop Alzheimer's or something of course)
  19. I think you'll find he shouted EDL (English Defence League) not EDF (Electricity De France)
  20. I called in to the Latics shop at the ground on Saturday to get one of the new "Bourbon Whiskey" t-shirts and must say that the bloke running that place was a disgrace. he made it quite clear that me wanting to give him £10 for a piece of merchandising was giving him quite some hassle as the t-shirts hadn't been counted and taken out of the boxes. Anyway, he called today a "soft launch" because "we don't want there to be loads of people turn up" These are quotes that I actually heard myself - couldnt quite believe it.
