GuyGermanLatic
Just wondering. The other night against Scunthorpe, outside the bottom turnstile to the Chaddy End on Sheepfoot Lane, there was a massive cue to get in and was a good wait with it. Any reasons why? opinions4u
From official site: LATICS ISSUE OFFICIAL APOLOGY Posted on: Wed 29 Oct 2008 The club would like to apologise to those fans that usually use the Detect All Chaddy End turnstiles at the Broadway side of the ground for the inconvenience caused at last night's game due to these turnstiles being out of use. An electrical fault on that side of the ground meant that there was no electricity to the turnstile block, and therefore no lights. The problem was only discovered at 6.15pm which meant that repair work could not be carried out in time to open the turnstiles, resulting in fans being redirected to the Furtherwood Road turnstiles. opinions4u
Dunno, you've got me snookered. I pondered that response, walked round the table, checked my pockets and played it straight. Good to see the apology puts no spin on it.
jorvik_latic
Good to see the apology puts no spin on it. It was a bit chalky though.
