leeslover
What winds me up is that the majority probably want standing brough back to football grounds... But no one does anything to achieve it.. Besides moaning on message board and pubs... Football fans should lobby parliament... An MP introduced something about returning standing in one of those, "look at me," Bills that never got made into laws recently. If only we had a member on here who spent the summer moonlighting at transcribing a group of MPs, MEPs, MSPs who were debating football issues then I'm sure he could enlighten us.... How many football fans are there in this country... Millions!!!! You don't need someone who knows someone... You just need to stand up and tell the government clearly what you want... If they wont give it to you...take away what's close to there hearts....power... A real public campaign backed and supported would change the situation.. Unfortunantly football fans are a bit of a let down when it comes to unitity... or taking action for a bigger cause outside of there own little worlds... oafc0000
A lot of the real groups you point out have fought the government on many issues and won.... I know because I have fought for the rights of some the people you mention above... I used to be a right little activist back in the day I don't believe the people are powerless... Its a pity you seem to think they are... That's why football fans get a raw deal because most of them think like you.. Look what happened last time a group of football fans stood together.... Chaddylad02
why dont they open the lookers paddock for standing at a discounted rate to pull fans?? £10 adults £3 kids for example. be just like in the early 90's ! i'd do it! just a thought danny

Once you've become and all seater you can't go back unfortunately. However I don't see why we can't reseat that area and open it for big games or if Blackpool visit.
