Rocky_Latic
Day off. No 'school' Waiting for Jeremy Kyle. I feel like 85% of Rochdale does every day of the week. Any other's lucky enough to have the day off thanks to the white stuff today?

Any other's lucky enough to have the day off thanks to the white stuff today? Undecided whether to go in or not. Apparently the car park at work is a death trap, and Oldham Town Centre is quite bad, especially on the side roads. Maybe I'll have another brew and see whether I can be arsed or not. jsslatic
Have an essay in for Wednesday, so sat at my desk reading seventeenth century accounts of the Civil War, staring longingly out at the snow. The fun lives students lead, eh... One of my two written warnings from my Halls at Uni was for an assault on the reception with half a dozen other drunkards in snow like this... we'd grown tired of the cold so took the fight indoors... it wasn't a popular choice. Some bell end pulled the fire alarm that night too, 4 am in the snow in your pants is not fun!

Rocky_Latic
Day off school, get in!!!!!!!! it's play time all day And another tomorrow. Just been told we're off again - as news is spreading round. Your department too. Even on one of the managements facebook status's that they've heard it's closed. Think it's so they didnt have to set their alarms. edit: just rang works number and there's been a message since quater to 8 confirming it's shut tomorrow. Word is to phone tomorrow night from half 7, in the hope that we're off on wednesday as well. To think we break up in two weeks too. QUALITY! WOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Some bell end pulled the fire alarm that night too, 4 am in the snow in your pants is not fun! Lucky you didn't have me as the manager!! Floggings to good for them after the day I've had on campus. Continously pelted as I went x-county around campus in the golf buggy (managed to accidently hit a snowman they just built) The Village shop got battered inside with snow twice (which was actually funny) Not so funny was my office that got done once Took three ironboards, a dozen trays from catering, a wet floor sign and several bins lids being used as sledges off them Removed two students of a roof (8 floors up with no ledge) they broke onto to snowball the local community Finally, the local 'youths' had to be escorted off site three times by Security, once after battering ( - the snow balls) some of the students (the ones who kept getting the shop / office ... KARMA)

The production manager couldnt get in yesterday due to the snow in the morning. I guess it was a miracle then that after the snow falling all day on top of the stuff in the morning i still managed to drive to Delph which is 2 miles past her house AND drive back home again at 5pm. And what thanks did i get for it?.......Bleeding none.

Zorrro
2 days off. Sadly, I'm now worrying about the fact I have to do two weeks' worth of work in three days, as I've already booked next week off. I hope it doesn't snow next week. I'll be claiming some annual leave back if it does!
