al_bro
Surely it has to make a return now! End of the season...100ft HD projector screen quoting 'PLEASE JOE, DONT GO!' Sorry, I would hate it if things didn't work out and the owners had to let him go. He'll get us into the playoffs, because there is no better motivator around than him. Then depending on which league we are in, we can find a new manager.
Frankly Mr Shankly
Surely it has to make a return now! End of the season...100ft HD projector screen quoting 'PLEASE JOE, DONT GO!' Quick question, and Prozac; the Latic-o-pedia is banned from answering it, but does anyone know who we played on the night that message was displayed upon the scoreboard? Clue: It was the 89-90 season.

oafcprozac
Correct. Friday night game, and we won 2-0. Ritchie and Tricky Ricky scored. The night some lad waited outside the front entrance for Joe, wearing just a t-shirt, half-frozen and begged him personally to stay.

Think it was in December, shortly after we'd thumped the Gooners 3-1 and the Royle Machine was in full flow. Ahhh.
