Hometownclub
Good, they won't need him back at short notice unless they get some serious injury problems.

Lags
Hope Sheehan continues his good form for the Latics. I wonder if we keep producing good results and as the injuries free up Sheehan will get the club in his blood. Or are just a 'Arber' like stepping stone? Rumour has it that Leeds would be prepared to let him stay with us permanently as some kind of deal involving Taylor. I know which one I'd rather have at Latics. NB This is rumour and I have not seen any confirmation or profess to have the info from a good source

Crusoe
I like Sheehan and I'm glad he's staying, but I wonder what'll happen when Jacobson is fit - we can't carry two specialist left-backs, both of whom have a claim on a first team place, surely? I think you're right. Once JJ is back he will take his place in the side. A shame really cos Sheehan as done well to date.

boundaryblue80
I've not seen Jacobson play. Hopefully he's as good as Sheehan I was impressed with him in pre-season...but that's not much to go off. Very willing and a cracking corner taker were two early things to note. Crusoe
Jacobson's also on a two-year contract, which makes Sheehan financially more expendable.
