Zorrro
Working on the assumption that most of us aren't daft enough to go to Wycombe, who's heading back to the Motherland for the Boxing Day clash of the tight uns?

leeslover
I'll be there, gurning over my beer. Can't stop out long after though, got, "family things," interferring with the true meaning of the festive season
Zorrro
I, too, shall be attending a family bash straight after the game. I'd argue that said bash will probably involve more booze than an OASIS night out though

samuelwhittaker
I'll be there, and think it may also call for 'Christmas coffee' to be taken into the ground. Wycombe isn't a very long trip by the way
Zorrro
Wycombe isn't a very long trip by the way It is, however, more expensive than free. Christmas coffee is a must. Alex, get yer Thermos out!!
leeslover
It is, however, more expensive than free. Christmas coffee is a must. Alex, get yer Thermos out!! What’s the alternative for right-thinking people who recognise that coffee is disgusting? I can’t think of anything that goes with tea and hot chocolate with crème de menthe could play into unfounded anti-Southern prejudices which I believe still exist in pockets of the town. Zorrro
Coffee is indeed rank; however, for keeping up appearances it's invaluable.
jsslatic
Not sure if I'm going to the Tranmere game but if I am I'll be sure to avoid Zorrro's machete wielding arm. Re: Wycombe, are people planning on getting the same train over or just rendezvousing there? Edited December 14, 2009 by jsslatic

Re: Wycombe, are people planning on getting the same train over or just rendezvousing there? I'm up for Wycombe if anyone else is. I'll also be there on Boxing day - Greyhound anyone? Early-ish start?
leeslover
Is it High Wycombe station? There's a few £4 singles still going and I am more solvent than I had anticipated.
leeslover
Or as we have several skint members and Christmas is coming up, Sam had the idea of having a LaticsWorld party with gallons of cheap booze, maybe this could be the time? Even with a railcard I can only find £6.80 for a single.
latic12345
You're not even going to get changed? Scruff. Mate, black tie dress code for the day I heard. I'll see you there in my (newly found) DJ... I'll sort a Thermos... or we could just get to the Greyhound very very early so we have an adequate beer jacket. Then again it's Tranmere and watching us sober is bad enough. Watching us get beat by Tranmere sober is unthinkable!!! Re: Wycombe. I may head up. All depends on how I feel after covering a bit of Katie Perry on Friday night :-)

latic12345
So.. whilst I know this feels like advanced planning, does anyone know which stand they will be going in for Tranmere game? They haven't said anything about moving latics fans in RRE so I assume all stands are open to us.
Zorrro
I anticipate a decision being made at approximately 2.59pm on Boxing Day. Did you get a Thermos yesterday?
