Hometownclub
That's a lot of £50 bets at some very short prices indeed, you won't need many of those to lose to wipe out the profit you make from the winning ones.
Blue_Pizza
Fair point, hopeful i can go with only a few losses though and have a nice tidy LSP at the end of the tourney, today's been ruined by rain though!

rudemedic
Few things- expertise in the betting department PMSL. You have a near 100% failure rate with your tips including an accumulator with a tennis bet in it where none of your bets came in. As rightly pointed out very few people have the sort of cash to spend in the way you say you have. The bet where you haven't picked the obvious favourite: Blaz Kavcic vs Wayne Odesnik £50 Blaz Kavcic (To Win Match) @ 2.62- er Odesnik won that one and one loosing bet spending the money you are on such sort odds probably means you are down on cash. However, keep it up your betting posts amuse me as your ability to be wrong is funny and just makes me wish I was your Bookie. If you want to throw your money away may I recommend you give some to Haiti as opposed to which ever bookie you choose.

Stitch_KTF
What self-respecting bloke knows enough about tennis to start seriously wagering on it? ? ? Though I can find it pretty tedious, I do find online poker to be profitable these days (having generally only broken even in the past). I first got into it years ago, just before the boom, and come and go from the game these days. Last week I set aside $180 to play 15 $12 180 seat multi-table tournaments and made 4 final tables in addition to 2 lower money finishes. That more than covered a night at the Chester Grosvenor with the ex on Saturday. If Blue Pizza gets really lucky then maybe he could take his boyfriend. garcon
I think what the few members who actually give a toss would like to know is whether you're actually putting £50 on all these bets. And if not, why mention the stake at all - surely it's irrelevant? ... unless, of course, you're actually going to tell us the net gain/loss (theoretical or otherwise... ) Edited January 19, 2010 by garcon

garcon
Not yet Is the Australian Open over yet? Best get your skates on then - remember, there's half as many matches in each successive round from which to regain your losses.
rudemedic
Best get your skates on then - remember, there's half as many matches in each successive round from which to regain your losses. That and the favourites won't be as obvious as they are in this round. There was a stat I read about that when the Racing post did a tipping competition amongst its tipsters a couple of years ago only 2 made more money than simply putting the same stake on the favourite in the selected races and only 4 (out of about 10) made a profit. May I recommend this site betting advice you might find it useful. Edited January 19, 2010 by rudemedic
