davebuckley06
Lampard's better than Gerrard. over the pat few years definatly. and lampard has managed that whilst being fat imagine how good he could be if he lost a bit of wieght
OldhamSheridan
Apparently Xavi could be out of the World Cup. I might not be a Barcelona fan, well I'm the opposite (Espanyol), and I want England to win the World Cup - but that is a great shame. He did a pass against Inter that didn't go to another Barca player. Then again, players will make the wrong runs every so often.
OldhamSheridan
over the pat few years definatly. and lampard has managed that whilst being fat imagine how good he could be if he lost a bit of wieght He has consistantly been better than Gerrard at international level. I'd play him in front of him every day of the week. As for fat? I can rest easy knowing that I could have made it if I had the skills now. johnny punkster
currently..(who i have seen play) 1. iniesta 2. messi 3. xavi i could swap those around in any order each minute, but iniesta for me is very underrated and just as magical as messi with his play. (grand total that barca paid for those...€0.00) ever... (who i have seen play) 1.stoichkov 2.ronaldinho 3.koeman stoichkov is easily my all time non latics player. a "feck you" attitude, 100% every game, and demanded 100% from everyone around him. DIOS! ronaldinho was just magical. for 3 years he transformed football into art, something that had been missing since pele, cruyff, maradona. where did it all go wrong? he's brazilian. he likes to party.all the time. koeman was a mountain a la gregan. he just took everything that was near him with ease and grace. and he had a shot that burst goal nets. De_La_Vega
Torres criminally overlooked by many here - he is amazing! Fabregas since he has started bringing a bit of menacing bad tackling into his game. Rooney - HULR (Hate United Love Roon) should appear on stickers all across Britain...
Yard Dog
Iniesta Messi Ronaldo (the winker/:censored: one) Best ever ? Ally McCoist Marco Van Basten Paul Gascoigne
Yard Dog
Might be on my own here, but don't think Rooney is anywhere near the top 3 currently. Perhaps not even the top 10.... He is, without a doubt, England's best player though.

Stitch_KTF
Hate to be boring, but the best three today are... Messi (For me it's his impeccable decision making which really sets him apart) C Ronaldo (spit) Drogba (When the battering ram centre forward in a multi-million pound team is taking freekicks from around the box then you know you have a top player ) Best three, or four, I've seen myself.... Ronaldo (It was I who began his round of applause as he left the pitch following his hatrick at Old Trafford ) Gascoigne Scholes Zidane I remember going to watch Gazza play in a pre-season friendly for Middlesbrough. He treated it as if he was playing in the playground which was fascinating; taking (good) corners left-footed round the back of his right; regularly keeping the ball all to himself for a minute or so; 'megs'; joking about; goal etc.
OldhamSheridan
Actually seen I struggle with, probably due to being drunk. But the actaul performances are probably not the abilities for alot of them. So seen in person are: 1. David Farrell, best performance I have ever seen by a long, long way. 2. Andrei Kanchelskis, git. 3. Simon Osborn (Reading), just for that moment of skill which is one of the best I have seen.

rudemedic
Currently 1.) Messi 2.) Rooney 3.) Xavi Although honorable mention to Wesley Sneijder, Cambiasso and Robben (if Holland can get Van Persie fit and not implode like usual they look very very dangerous at the world cup) All time (that I've seen LIVE) 1.) Zidane 2.) Giggs 3.) Bergkamp Plus honorable mention to Maldini
