steveoafc Posted July 5, 2010 Share Posted July 5, 2010 Clubs do seem to be stealing a march on us, We've been linked ( albeit mostly on here ) to several trialists etc, but as of yet nothing concrete. Even the assistant post hasn't been officially resolved. Usually, to boost ST sales a couple of signings are announced to whet fans' appetite for the new season. oafc1955 Posted July 5, 2010 Share Posted July 5, 2010 good luck to him sad we never offered him anything. 158 appearances and only 36 goals (28 for Barnsley 2004-2007) in the last 7 years ....hardly prolific and he's usually injured for most of the season!! Clubs weren't exactly falling over themselves to sign him up.....too much of a gamble and with such a poor fitness record I'm glad we stayed clear!!
