Lookers_Carl
Going back on topic, I don't think Moore would be such a terrible appointment for them. They could certainly do worse. Anyone know if Beech has gone with Hill and Flitcroft to Barnsley?

3lions
Neither Penney or Moore are going to be getting the job, its looking like its going to be either John Pemberton, Sean McAuley, Chris Beech or Stuart Eyre. All these are currently succcesful youth team coaches at their respective clubs and play the brand of football we have got used to under the lying plastic manc

Who has just given you the best position in league football that you have ever had? Its no wonder he left!!! Apparently told the Rochdale Board he was going to Milton Keynes to scout/enquire about a potential signing, when really he was at Barnsley having another interview. He spouts on about loyalty and respect with regards to McArdle and a few others in the past yet he has shown none of both to Dale. Good manager, chats too much though! Got it in one, plus the fact he quoted in the press that he wasnt leaving for Baaarnsley as it wasnt the right club for him and that it is business as usual. Then 6 days later leaves for the yarkshire puddings, biggest hypocrite ive ever seen what with his high horse supposed ethics policies. He took us to a League Cup Final, 2 FA Cup semi finals, 3 fantastic seasons in the Prem after a wonderful season winning what is now the Championship. Because he was so succesful at taking us to where we couldn't have dreamed we would ever be, he became a legend. He always will be!!! When he left for a bigger club we all wished him well and he was applauded whenever he came back. Anything less would have been arrogant Good luck with one of the experienced youth coaches you was talking about becoming your next manager! JR was here over 12 years though, survived calls for his head and turned down the City job twice, and an interview for the England job. He did show loyalty until it became clear the board expected him to do it all again after relegation from the Premier League, despite them selling off the team around him….then he walked and tbh the time was right…. I wouldnt disagree with that too much. The point I was making was when your most succesful manager ever takes you to places you never expected to be surely you have to give him a bit more respect than treating him like a judas when he leaves. Hill did a great job for Rochdale and now they all hate him??? Who the feck do they think they are?

Agree with you, but you have to remember that prior to his departure Royle didn't give a speech saying how Everton wasn't the right club for him, then resign 6 days later (although to be fair, once Royle got the phonecall from Kenright he couldnt get their fast enough)
