Stevie_J
The voice of BBC's football results for longer than I can remember reads his last set of scores and hangs up his mic today. The end of an era.

24hoursfromtulsehill
I thought Tim Gudgin took over from another guy who retired in the mid-90s - they had exactly the same voice, so no one noticed. As was Len Martin. I love The Way it is (James Hornsby and the Range) and Unfinished Symphony because of it invoking memories of the results on Grandstand. WHat other music has been used to preface the football headlines? Saw this whilst trying to check, with old Bob Wilson. Shame we dontl get a mention, I believe we had a good result that day v West ham and was a week before a pretty special day!
