Put a fiver on finishing in fifth place

Recommended Posts

I mean, it's fated — Scholes playing, Henry playing and scoring, Graham Westley about to leave a club in the lurch. Football's gone back to January 2003, fifth place beckons, Scapuzzi is the new Lourenço, and a 1-1 draw away at Huddersfield is on the cards.

I think the top five places are all but sown up.

Sixth is all that is left to play for.

The money boys are top five whilst six is a free for all.

I was saying that to my dad on the drive down to Liverpool. This season is one of the toughest in this division as there are five teams who are a clear cut above everyone else. I can see the top five still being there at the end of the season. It's all about who can put together a strong run to knick sixth from the rest of a huge pack of chasing sides.
