Crusoe
From today's ressies match report: Reserve-team manager Lee Duxbury's reaction to the defeat will follow shortly along with news of a new Latics signing. My money's on it being Bouzanis signing until the end of the season. That or an out-of-contract youngster for the ressies.

BP1960
That bad was it? 3- 0 to United and mainly a stroll for their kids, no firepower for Latics similar to the first team, with Matt Smith heading anywhere but near the net. Marsh Brown did ok though. Edited February 1, 2012 by BP1960

BP1960
Is he any good that keeper? Could do worse, some of his kicking was a bit hairy.

Marsh Brown did ok though. Just seems like it's a malaise that is running through the club at the moment - no firepower. Let's hope it changes starting Saturday,

BP1960
With the expert coaching at Latics you would think Smith would be able to head the ball down instead of up all the time, also he very rarely nods the ball across for a collegue to latch onto, his awareness, positioning, and sharpness off the mark also need working on. He ought to have a look a some old videos of John Toshak, that will teach him far more about centre forward play than he shows at present. I feel it would help if Smith tremendously if he had a goal poacher alongside him, he's never had this luxury while at the Latics. As a centre forward he needs to be throwing is weight about and show a mean streak, he's just too nice. We have departed a bit from the thread subject Bouzanis, we won't really know about him until he's seen first team action.
