rudemedic
just watching late kickoff and they are discussing drinking at games. why isn't there a bar in the chaddy? surely a good source of income. When you consider the bookies, two concession stands, the "Tuck shop", and the loos, there is apparently not enough room.
leeslover
I recall it was Sean Jarvis' biggest ambition. I suspect that the crumbling infrastructure makes it not worthwhile to invest, especially as the whole thing needs pulling down anyway
opinions4u
Is it beyond the wit of man to find the space to have a counter and a bloke behind it pulling pints in to plastic cups?
futchers briefs
I've got an idea.. let's knock the stand down, leave it empty for a while, then build houses on it! Buy one of the said houses and put a bar in it - job done.
singe
Small matter of applying for a licence From fresh. Trying to gain assurances from Council, police etc that it will not cause any trouble. The process for that will sap the will of even the most hardened drinker. Bureaucracy: We used to build and invent things, now it is what Britain does best. Edited March 6, 2012 by singe

We have bars in main and rre, so I doubt they'd be worried about trouble etc
oldhamandy1
When they got the bar in the RRE there were problems with the Chaddy End not sure what it was though
Roger Ritchie
Just get a bloke selling them plastic bottles from a bucket. Or better one of them guys with the ghost buster backpacks on that distribute beers at the MEN. Liverpool had guys walking the concourse selling stuff too.
