Tommy_Fent Posted May 3, 2012 Share Posted May 3, 2012 I know another thread about kits etc. But assuming we'll be playing in the black away kit next season, does this mean we'll have to bring out a 3rd kit? I know it probably won't be nessesary unless we play Gillingham or Rochdale in the cup, but usually the reason why teams play in black or white away kits are because they can bring out a third kit to sell more shirts etc Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They won't have kits by different manufacturers in the same season. So I think the likely scenario is for 2012/2013, new home and away shirt by fila, with a new away shirt for 2013/2014, and whatever the away shirt is for 2012/2013 being relegated to third choice. Lookers_Carl Posted May 4, 2012 Share Posted May 4, 2012 If they are switching to fila as the manufacturer, then I would have thought fila would have been fila kits across the board, hence ditching the black carbrini kit and just having two kits for 2012/2013, relegating the tangerine away kit (assuming it is tangerine) to 3rd strip in 2013/2014. Whilst it isn't uncommon for clubs to have different shirt sponsors for home and away kits, I havent seen a club have their home and away kits by two different manufacturers.
