He was the first real striker I remember as a kid Jim Steele became a policeman I think. The Spanish football (Athletic v Athletic Bilbao) had me in stitches the other night. Madrid had a striker called (don't know spelling) Eba Gomez. I don't think the commentators pronunciation of Ebah Gum......ez was entirely accidental!
