Train tickets

Lift to Stevenage has messed up and no one elae wiling to drive. 3 or 4 of us now looking at coach or train. Cheapest I can find is working out about £80... Are those Saturday Piccadilly to Euston £36 fares still going and if so, where are they? Cheers

Have you tried Virgin Trains?

 

Got Tickets from Piccadilly to Euston for £19 (each way) on there - decent deal I think.

I have. That's what I was looking for, the Saturday travel card thing... Had a look on a few websites and it's working out at £80+.

National Express coaches run a bus from Manchester bus station to Stevenage. It leaves 06.00 arrives 13.20 costs £23.00. Run around every hour and a half.
