laticdickovarmy
Oxley - whether a penalty or not the keeper helped make the refs decision 4Lanzoni - very good find and hardly put a foot wrong. Yellow card was a cracker 8Grounds - found his position at cb 7Tarky - stone wall pen against him and its hard to believe its the same bloke as last season 7Mills - did ok, tried to get forward 6Sidney - certainly has a trick but must learn when to use it. Cuts inside every single time. Loads of effect 7Smith - kept it ticking over is just a very good player at this level 7Wes - did ok 1st half and looked exhausted 10mins into the 2nd 6Dayton - deliver is awsome or :censored: no in between. Tried a flick that nearly cost us a goal 7Clarke-Harris not his day today 5Rooney should have scored 2mins in could had a bag load today if he was a poacher like McDonald 5Rusnak - a luxury player who works hard but 3 crosses into the box and was stood 25 yards away from goal. Should have scored. 5Rodgers like the lad and always wants the ball 6Monty didn't look himself but was only a brief cameo 5All in all we crated loads and missed a goal scorer. Tried to play football the right way but ran out of ideas, for all the dominance fon Williams hardly made a saveWe will win as many as we lose Edited August 31, 2013 by laticdickovarmy
Ross2509
Agree with all of them, it's not a question of Adam Rooney himself however it's a question of the service he is getting at the moment.

The final ball today was either too long or too short/blocked - rooney was left totally isolated once jch went off - i don't know where the city lad was playing but it wasnt up top alongside him so they started to get a foothold in the middle of defence and midfield

opinions4u
How the :censored: should Albert have scored 5? I think 5 is his mark out of 10. The punctuation is lacking.

LeylandLatic
Oxley - whether a penalty or not the keeper helped make the refs decision 4 He really didn't help him make a decision. He punched the ball away in a fair challenge and the ref made a decision that not one of the 4700+ fans in the ground agreed with. Tranmere didn't have a shot on target all game and probably only 2 off target as well, Oxley did fine and we got sewn up by another League One referee. You can't just avoid ever making challenges in the box, it's just a shame it's got to the point where the confidence in referees to get decisions right is so low that this seems an acceptable concept... DTM
Agreed. I think the Ox is great, and yeah needs to focus sometimes, but that was not a penalty today. I figured once he'd beat his man to the ball that's be it, but apparently not. Referee was a gargantuan tool.

There seem to be plenty of fans saying that, from the Chaddy End it looked a stonewall pen. From the Main Stand, I thought Oxley got the ball clean. However, I knew it was coming, but that's a different story....
