Well the Stars clinched the final wild card spot last night by shutting out St. Louis, which means i get to see them in the play offs for the first time in my 4 years as a fan. When Tim Gleason came from Hurricanes, He said he didn't expect so many members of the media and press to be interviewing the players pre and post game. If we could win shootouts we'd have probably made the playoffs. Think the winner will come from the West. And thats about as far as my prediction is going! Ackey Posted April 13, 2014 Author Share Posted April 13, 2014 Like Ragg I've been a half-watcher this year... my biggest problem is dealing with the idea that Marty will play elsewhere next year. It's 100% the right thing to do for the team but a Devil's team without Marty, or more importantly any other team with Marty just feels so so wrong. Smyth's retirement game this week gone shows just how important it is to end in the right place and I hope that somehow Marty does that with the Devils and not playing for some nohopers and getting pasted every night.
