I don't believe that Rooney has been the disaster that some fans would have you think, and I'd like to give him game time with Harkins and Worrall in the side.

However, from the meet the manager today, it's quite clear he'll be leaving this transfer window.

I don't think it's nailed on. However am not surprised plenty clubs have enquired.

The only game LJ feel's he may have got wrong formation/tactics wise.

Also said that it was supposed to be a 433 (not a 460), which is reliant on wing play. Unfortunately Dayton had a bad game and Montano with hindsight had his own agenda.

I'd echo Phil's questions here.

I was lucky to attend the 1st one of these, and TBF; LJ did seem nice & open to all our questions that day, so fingers crossed he's the same this time.

I'd like someone, if they can, to ask him to speak in a decent detail on Phil's point "a" - his plans for the current squad and his plans for next season.

If chance, could someone also ask him a few tactical questions - in terms of how he sees Harkin fitting into the side, and what is his preferred striker combo and how they would line up?

LJ believes the club is now in a far better situation with the structures put in place to have all teams/squads from the youths up trained and playing the same way. So that players can come in/step up and know the system.

Also has gathered (in his words) a good group of specialists to work with the players including a sports sociologist, physio's, coaches etc. One of which can command 10K a day if I heard correct!! but at mates rates as he put it. Also through good contacts and a growing friendship with a number of Prem sides the use of hi tech equipment, including sports sciences, and use of their scouting network player notes.

Just got back

I'll do a lengthy writeup when I have time. Either very late tonight or during tomorrow.

He was discussing Rooney when I walked in late (about 10 minutes I think), so anything that was said before then, I won't know anything about.

Nice lad etc. well educated and thinks about the game. Hurts that he feels he's let himself, the manager and the fans down not scoring enough whilst he's been here. Feels the stick from the fans more than some other players allow it to effect them.
