palmer1
Not on a high horse. Just giving anyone the info from someone who was at the match. Calm down I wasn't replying to you Melia.
maddog
I assumed it was a tactical sub to take advantage of Mills' attacking qualities, rather than a reflection of Brown's performance. It made sense to me, even though it didn't sound like it came off.
HarryBosch
I was there. Wilson was awful. Brown was decent and the scapegoat for mills - who was even worse than Wilson ehen he came on. Poleon was better than forte too. Subs were predictable - Johnson has his lads and it doesn't matter how the others play. Eh? One of the subs joined on Monday and the other about 2 weeks ago...? Conor, not a bad / not a good performance last night but played well in recent games and did little to undermine himself last night (though if the goal comes from yourside you expect to have a bit of scrutiny). The old 'manager's favourites' line is dragged out about every manager ever. There will be a bit of truth in it at times, but we have a small squad, and generally have been playing well. You'd expect the spine of a team to stay the same for consistency even if one or two have off games.

Plus he's been quite vocal in interviews about using less players this year to try and maintain some sort of consistency.
