Hamlet v East Thurrock United 21 March

Recommended Posts

It's the big one...the one where we get to buy tickets for the Maidstone brouhaha on 18 April.

I'll be there from about 1.30 but have to take it easy because it really is my wedding anniversary and I really do have to take Mrs 24 out somewhere nice afterwards.

If anyone can't make it but would like a ticket for Maidstone, let us know.

Still haven't recovered from Hornchurch.... never seen four red cards issued for one incident before leading to the referee escorted off the field at the end of the game by security .. like any Hamlet fans had any intention of lumping him one, we were to busy finishing our wine and singing.

Gutted I missed that. Were all the red cards for the punters on the bench?

One for a bad tackle. Earlier in the game one of their players nearly broke a Dulwich players legs with an awful tackle and the ref played on for 3/4 minutes (they nearly scored) before stopping play and this left our bench angry. Our tackle was similar but not as bad and after he got sent off the bench cleared, first Gavin (Manager) got sent off, then Junior (Coach). The ref then walked the length of the pitch and sent Albert Jarrett off (who had already been substituted, he ran on, gave it to the ref and ran away pretending not to be involved).

All that was left on the bench was the physio, hence lots of singing of ............ "Her 1st name is Laura, is Laura, is Laura .... her second name is McPherson, McPherson, McPherson ...."

Reckon I'm in for this. I think we all need some light hearted football fun at the moment!

and you get the choice of three styles of scarves, three styles of mugs, pin badges and even a fanzine!!!

May head to the Brick Brewery (Peckham Rye) first for a pint, it's about a ten minute walk to Champion Hill from there

In this analogy is watching England in the ruggers at 5 o'clock the equivalent of having a sly one on Hampstead Heath or going home and kicking the dog...?

This is getting complicated. The wife is Oldham. The mistress is Hamlet. The rugger on telly is...a profoundly disturbing type of nationalistic porn favoured by those who have been expensively but not necessarily well educated, and those in their thrall.
