thetramfixer
What were the exec boxes and hospitality like? Glorified sheds with sausages on a stick
palmer1
Started watching Latics as 7 year old in box number 2. Free programme and a radio piping the music and crowd into the box Glass of Coke and a tray of butties while my dad and what seemed like a 1000 people crammed the bar having a pint. buffet at half time as well pretty basic but I loved it at the time went into the portacabin things we had in the last few years for the Wednesday game 2/ 3 yrs ago. It was basic back in the day but it was better than that IMO. HAPPY DAYS Edited June 29, 2015 by palmer1
Ackey
Gut it. Rip the roof off, side walls, and everything downwards keeping literally just the outer wall. Build a new modern stand (reclaiming bits as ya go for character) using the outer wall. Would be a first in football wouldnt it? And im sure wouldnt cost that much more than throwing up a complete new build. I'm not sure what you're basing that assumption on?
Frankly Mr Shankly
Its had its day, a new stand extended to full pitch lengh including decent toilets and catering facitities for me. And what about anyone else? Will they be allowed to enjoy your toilets and catering facilities?
LaticsChris
Good trivia question I was asked. Who was the first team to install executive boxes? Apparently the answer is us I believe so, one of Uncle Ken's ideas.
HarryBosch
And what about anyone else? Will they be allowed to enjoy your toilets and catering facilities? You can already have your own in the RRE. Do we really need VIP in two stands?
BP1960
And what about anyone else? Will they be allowed to enjoy your toilets and catering facilities? Depends how much room they give me.
joncurtis199
Maybe something like was on the Oldham Arena? Simple compared to the Broadway stand with its many floors? Question is, what happens to all the facilities currently housed within main stand.
BP1960
How about a replacement for the main stand like this?.. houses behind it I see just like on Sheepfoot Lane. http://www.footballgroundguide.com/leagues/england/league-one/highbury-stadium-fleetwood-town.html?
