Perhaps not, But maybe it's better to have 2 players challenging each other for the number 1 rather than a guy who will happily be number 2 and won't push the number 1 to be at the top of his game. I can't see the goalkeeper position being the same for 46 games, due to their age whoever we go with will have a dip in form and then the other one can come in.
