BP1960
Sat in the main stand today just behind the bench. Number of times during the game when things were going wrong and we were being outplayed saw players looking to be bench for assistance / tactical changes etc and were met by a static and blank faced bench. I know players should be able to do the business once they "cross the white line" but also when things are not working, the idea is that the coaching staff see what is going wrong and give messages out. DK and DH did nothing. I think Mills had a few harsh words, while Winchester just looked bemused.
Scapegoat
Dunn regularly looked to the bench when we were being over run by Posh attacks. Clearly thinking whatever we were doing wasn't working and expected (reasonably?) for the management team to have realised the same and changed it? Concentrating on his game would of been a start, for a senior pro with Premier League experiance to be looking over for guidance is a piss take in itself, thought this guy was going to boss this league but the truth is he is an out of shape luxury a battling team cant afford. rvlatic
Murphy did himself some favours todayI agree - he ran his bollocks off for 90mins -a bit Paul warne-esque but at least he showed some effort. Scored a brilliant goal, which I'd guess was his only real job today. The guy from Leicester should have been doing most of the hold up play, winning headers etc... but was never in the game. Steve_R
Something horribly wrong at the club. After 1ST first half I thought ok come out 2nd half all guns blazing, quick goal and we are right back in it. We scored after 3 min but the whole place is like a morque. Players look as though they have just scored a consolation (which is what it was) but there is no atmosphere in the crowd. Every game this season we have started poorly but poor finishing by the other team has kept us in it, today Boro made us pay and only luck has stopped previous home games going the same way. SC has got to admit it just hasn't worked and replace him while the season is still young. But the atmosphere is brilliant now, as everyone told me it would be when they kicked me out of the Chaddy End
