Halifax with the comeback of the night... Losing 2-0 when they went down to 10 men against Notts County but managed to win the game 3-2 - pleased for a certain P Wild
This guy was in front of me in the queue to get into the ground. He was totally out of his tree and the steward refused him entry advising him to go and have a strong coffee.
He was a total liability and how he eventually got in I’ll never know
Interesting. I was at Maidenhead versus Leyton Orient yesterday - hadn’t realised that it was the Barnes we had here.
Orient have picked up Darren Pratley who looked classy in the middle of the park. A couple of others stood out: the keeper Vigouroux and Happe at the back.
Entertaining if error strewn game. Orient were in control until Maidenhead equalised but then had a major wobble before eventually grabbing the winner from the spot.
And seven of the Fulham starting eleven that day are/were either out on loan or are no longer at the club ...
There is simply a much higher turnover of players nowadays
Careful... You need to add three dots or summat to the end of the sentence (or even a smiley winky face thingy) or some will think you’re being serious...
He signed for them then had to sit out an isolation period. I understand that shortly afterwards his mum was diagnosed with cancer and she passed away relatively quickly. Mohammad only made the Ross County squad for the final game of the season but didn’t come off the bench.
I cannot think of another player in recent Latics’ history who fails so often to bring the ball under control when played into him.
As Tommy Docherty is oft quoted: “ he can trap a ball further than I can pass it” (*)

As per my post I wonder if Curle will give any of the named academy players a start in either of the remaining games?
You are correct in that none have played 90 minutes in a league game. Sutton and Hough have done so in the Papa John’s and Luamba did start Away at Grimsby.
Surely one or two will be given a chance?
I wonder if Keith Curle will use the final two games to give one or two from the Academy a start?
There are four or five who could/should feature:
Vaughan
Da Silva
Luamba
Hough
Sutton
All have been in and around the first team squad this season.
He does put out some strange posts I’ll grant you that
His latest gem: ‘Why not just acknowledge it's been great when we've been scoring, and annoying as hell when we concede?’
Er ..yeah.. right
Game over. Poor defending cost us. From the ‘John Helm school of glass half full’ we did win the second half AND had more corners...
Walker should not have started
Fage should have been subbed at halftime.
Jameson and Clarke were very poor.
DKD contributed very little.
McCalmont contributed even less.
Having said that, Morecambe had three hugely influential players in Diagouraga, Mendez-Gomez and Stockton. We could not cope with their movement.
We did well to only lose by the odd goal in seven.
And as for the co commentator...
Why not interested? It’s our team on a mini run of two victories - can they make it three on the bounce and turn over the mighty Morecambe? Pointless? I hope not...I want all three
If all fit I would make one change to the last time out starting eleven - Adams in for Fage.
Walker, Clarke, Piergianni, Jameson, Adams, McCalmont, Whelan, Borthwick-Jackson, Bahamboula, McAleny, Keillor-Dunn
Sadly his form had not been good for some time when he moved on. The change has obviously done him good and he seems to be on much better form with his long throw a vital part of the Burton attacking options. As well as scoring yesterday he also hit the crossbar with a looping header.
I recall that he did captain Latics on a couple of occasions so maybe his leadership skills are there.
Pleased for the lad.
Meanwhile... what’s this all about?
As well as the term ‘taking legal advice’ the tweet also talks of ‘allegations’ being made that are ‘abhorrent’ ...
