    PD mentions the work that has gone into the deal. Not got a problem with someone happy to pick up their money rather than go elsewhere for regular football (if I could get paid for doing nowt I would) but if you're not interested don't waste people's time. Yeah I saw that. Understand the sentiment behind it lamenting the attitude of some footballers I mention above but Muamba's not relevant to that argument.

    According to a couple of journos on Twitter Dickov has tried to bring in a player on loan with a view to signing them up for next season. Loads of work gone into it and club were willing to loan him for nowt, only for the player to call this morning and say they didn't fancy it. Come on Dickov - name and shame.

    Still early days but if they have managed to save him after that long out then that's some achievement by the medical staff. Good news so far, just hope he improves and doesn't suffer any long term damage

    I take back my criticism of Ruby - did exactly the right thing by the horse there by pulling him up as soon as he felt he wasn't right.

    I'm a bit conflicted now - good start to the day but the blog I suggested yesterday is in similar form and somehow pulled out the forecast in that race with Champion Court 2nd. My dilema is I'm against them on every other race. Sir Des Champs has covered my stakes for the day so I think I'll leave it for now and take any other results as a bonus. Bad start for you but I'd be amazed if you don't come out with a profit from those picks.

Nice and competitive today but here's what I've settled on: 13:30 - Sir Des Champs 14:05 - Sonofvic 14:40 - Somersby 15:20 - Big Bucks 16:00 - Salut Flo 16:40 - Sunnyhillboy I'll also be sticking a couple of quid on Oscar Whisky against Big Bucks with money back if he comes in 2nd

    Should be. Paddy Power are doing money back if your pick comes second to Big Bucks so I might take a chance on Oscar Whisky given Henderson/Geraghty's form so far.

    Crap end to the day, Village Vic ran an awful race by the sounds of it. Decent couple of days all in though and some great races to watch.
