I'm a member of the one in Edinburgh and would definitely recommend them. If you're after full on health club with swimming pool, sauna and the like then don't bother but it's great if you're just looking for a basic fitness gym with convenient hours. I get most of my exercise running outdoors but because Pure Gym are so cheap I can use them for a couple of cross training sessions a week and still get my money's worth.

Atwell seems to be getting some stick from Leicester for managing to get the game on. I think he needs applauding, as long as the pitch isn't frozen then there's no reason to not play in snow. Whether the same effort would have been made had the game not be on sky is another question but I wish more referees would show some common sense and a desire to get the game played.

I've never done Barca but lived in Madrid for a while and would echo what others have said, sort your own flights and hotel and you should get tickets without a problem. I'd be surprised if you couldn't buy match tickets on the official site to pick up once you arrive if you want to ensure you have them sorted before you go, although there'll be others who know more about that than me.

Was that not Jackie Chan Cantona's debut for them? I remember celebrating like we'd won the league after that game, I must have only been about 10. I barely get to games these days due to working the odd Saturday, not driving and being too skint to afford the train down but Latics is still a massive part of me. My friends and girlfriend know not to plan anything for a Saturday afternoon because they know I'm gonna be sat at home listening to the game while my girlfriend laughs at the "funny accents". They know that if we've lost they're not gonna get much conversation from me for the rest of the weekend. I still remember my first game against Newcastle in 1989 like it was yesterday, and every game I get to feels exactly the same as that one did, like I was part of something and like it was part of me. My dad's the same, moans like anything after every game he gets to and then calls me a couple of weeks later telling me he's in some train station on his way to another seemingly meaningless game. It's just what we do.
