  1. 7 winners so far with a couple of places on top - I've managed to have a bet as well with all my funds coming from a £10 free bet on Teaforthree in the first. The first time I've used Paddy Power and I'm on fire using their money EDIT: Forgot to say, I've also nipped out for a couple of Lucky Dips for the Lottery tonight EDIT 2: Just noticed this is my 300th post which means I'm no longer Danny Boshell, not sure life gets any better than this
  2. I've just had a small bet on Poole Master as well to cover my E/W on Consigliere.
  3. I'm not overly confident about the rest of the day so I'm just gonna kick back and enjoy the racing I think. I fancy Finian's in the next but after that I may as well have just stuck a pin in the racecard
  4. Haha..I follow getyourtipsout on twitter (blog here http://getyourtipsout.wordpress.com/). I go with a mix of what they suggest and what I've backed before. They had a good day yesterday but missed Our Mick and Balthazar and I've only gone with 3 of their picks today (they were against Simonsig). They're having a decent year overall so definitely worth a follow. Edited for spelling
  5. I'm dead good at picking horses me After some good races yesterday, and some great results, I'm not half as confident about today. I'm not sure I'll have chance to put a bet on today but again, for what it's worth, here are my picks: 13:30 - Teaforthree 14:05 - Simonsig 14:40 - Grands Crus 15:20 - Finian's Rainbow 16:00 - Consigliere (E/W) 16:40 - Vendor 17:15 - Village Vic
  6. 16:40 - Quevega win, Kentford Grey Lady 2nd. Not had big money on any of these unfortunately, and had to take a couple as doubles and trebles, so not won anywhere near what I should have done. Decent day nevertheless and a place for Ackertac in the last would bring in my biggest bet (e/w treble with Balthazar and Kentford)
  7. Free matched bet as well for new accounts which is handy
  8. I know there used to be a few racing threads on here but I've not seen one in a while so thought I'd start one up for Cheltenham. I'm "in between" jobs at the minute so I'm in the strange position of being able to watch the Festival but not have a bet (other than a couple of free bets I've still got knocking about in my online accounts). For what it's worth my Day one picks (based on nothing more than names that have won for me before or that I like the look of) are: Supreme Novices Hurdle - Cinders & Ashes Arkle - Sprinter Sacre JLT - Quantitativeasing (Our Mick as an E/W chance) Champion Hurdle - Hurricane Fly Cross country Chase - Balthazar King Mares Hurdle - Quevega (Kentford Grey Lady E/W) Novice Handicap - Ackertac
  9. Reading through RAWK a lot of Liverpool fans seem to think this guy has been cleared, rather than CPS not having enough evidence to proceed. They are talking about apologies, compensation and the rest of it and claiming that all the evidence supports the accused. At the same time they have the audacity to have a pop at other people for "not reading" the FA report on Suarez.
  10. Email the club and let them know. Like you say they need to make sure the contractor is performing, and I'm sure they know there are issues, but the only way for the club to monitor it is if they get the feedback.
  11. Just got 15/17 on the PL scorers one - can't believe I missed super Sean!!
  12. Our physio must be snowed under at the minute - can we not offer him a bit of part time work?
  13. I think he'd be a superb appointment for them, he'd help them push on if they get back into the Championship as well
  14. Rumours are that Dave Jones has already been approached according to the BBC over that way
  15. Just had a couple of quid on Hiddink to be in charge for first game of Euros at 20/1. Think he'd be a great shout short term with his tournament pedigree and then would allow 'Arry to concentrate on Spurs. FA could then take more time after the tournament to plan for the long term
  16. Think you're right, unfortunately. Not one to slaughter players, I just don't think Taylor offers anywhere near as much as the other options at the minute (even if one of them is called Keanu)
  17. I'm gutted but thought the same watching his interview. Hope they stuff Fascist Paulo (or not-so-fascist-as-far-as-I-know Lawrie Sanchez)
  18. Drop Taylor, play Keanu. Get Furman back in and we'll be looking alright again
  19. IMDB has a Parent guide for most films, eg http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1231583/parentalguide
  20. I think it's clear that the one correct answer to this question is the fat, cheating tosser from over the hill. If you've answered anything other than Alan Lee then you're wrong. I wish I could say I was surprised he's just gotten away with shoving the keeper into the goal but unfortuantely I'm not.
