  1. Why do people presume that if you say something bad about Sheridan then you automatically want him out? The thing that is most frustrating me at the moment is that we are not performing to the standard we know we can. And that fault lies at Sheridan's door, no ifs or buts. He picks the team, and (should) be telling them how to play. From the games I have seen recently we are missing something and there are the beginnings of cliques beginning to form with the players. Now you can shout all you want that we had chances yesterday to win the game. But the cold hard truth is, that if we want to succeed in this league we should be converting chances at home against sides like Swindon. I for one don't want Shez out (yet) but at the moment he is doing a very poor job in my opinion. For him to come out and say that we performed well yesterday compounds the fact. So, if you can't come on message boards like this and give your opinion without being told to stop "being a fan" is lunacy. I was shouting until the very last minute yesterday for the team. I don't believe in booing and I don't believe in shouting abuse at the players it doesn't do any good. I don't much care if Sheridan has a go back at fans who shout and moan, although it isn't very professional. What I do feel I can do is comment on a message board if I feel the manger is getting it wrong. If that makes me a bad fan in your eyes, then I'm not going to loose any sleep over it. I know I'm right and I know you're kidding yourselves. We're not going up this season, and we' won't be going up next season. Sheridan has some tough thinking to do and has got to make some changes. We started the season of like a steam train and we are slowly but surely becoming derailed. It is down to him to sort this and I hope he can.
  2. Fair enough. If you are happy with our current performances then I'm pleased for you. I think it is naive of you to think that teams at this level don't have playing styles. The manager should dictate the way the team plays. At this level the manager is the difference between a good team and average team. At the moment at looks to me like we're a very average team with some very good players in it. We've been outplayed and out passed by Leyton Orient, Hereford, Huddersfield to name a few over the last few weeks. And just in case you ask, yes I did go to all those games.
  3. So we should all be happy with carving out 2 or 3 chances at home? The save Fleming made was far better than any the Swindon keeper made. I thought Gregan and Hazell played brilliantly. Just going forward we're not very good and don't seem to have a style. I noticed you didn't answer the question though, how do you describe the way we play? It should be a simple question.
  4. Can I ask why you think he is right? Do you think we performed well today. I thought we were again average at best. At the moment we can't keep hold of the ball for long periods, don't press teams when we don't have the ball, our passing is terrible and we don't seem to have any kind of game plan. Don't even start on corners, dead ball plays and throw ins. If you were to describe how we play to somebody who doesn't go, what would you say our style of football. Passing (No) Physical (No) Counter Attacking (No) Long Ball (No) what is he trying to do? I'm curious because I can't see what Sheridan is trying to do with the team, you obviously see what it is so help me out. He has brought Windass in who has got a great touch and quick brain, but, and this is a big but, he hasn't got the legs for it anymore that is clear for all to see. He needs the ball in to his feet, but we haven't got anyone who can get it there. If the pass is two yards either side of him, he can't make it. This isn't something new, we've been poor at passing all season. So what is he thinking? I don't think people were booing the players today they were booing Sheridan as he is getting it wrong big time. People can see it, but clearly he can't.
  5. Name? Glynne Kirkham Location? Chadderton How Long Supporting the Tics? 21years Best away match you've been to? Ipswich when we won promotion to the prem. All Time Greatest Player? Andy Ritchie Biggest Rivals (in your eyes)? At the moment probably Tranmere.
