  1. So no you don't have any proof other than 'its obvious'. STFU.
  2. Spot on. You don't need to be Sherlock Holmes to see things are getting more and more desperate with every bad decision.
  3. Both those statements about Shez and Evans are guesses, for somebody who pulls people up a lot on that you sure are guilty of it yourself a lot. Care to prove those two statements with any kind of factual evidence?
  4. Sorry that's the bit I'm not buying. All that I think is happening is that people are calling him out on things more. I'm guessing Rochdale haven't gone public with this just because they're feeling grumpy. I'm guessing that this has happened lots of times before and they've given a few warnings and said, right if you don't pay us next time we'll go public. So all of this isn't just a get at Corney campaign, it's the way he has done business for a while (he thinks its normal to pay people late). It's an accumulation of running a business badly. And yes I know I've used the word guessing and as usual it's something that can't be proved. Hence why he can say what he wants and we have to believe him. I'm not saying he is lying in maliciously, he's just bending the truth enough to make it not look like is fault. It is though, it all comes back to him.
  5. I'd be better placed to believe that if it didn't happen so often. Things are definitely picking up pace too. Things are 'changing' more and more these days. Maybe that's because he is not as hands on as he used to be, but mistakes are becoming more and more apparent. He's usually good at covering his tracks and deflecting blame, but it's all getting a bit familiar.
  6. I've seen enough posts sticking up for him. Highlight something that he has actively done to improve the football club without completely ballsing it up over the last 5 years. New stand - we're rolling in cash now aren't we. We've been in a much better position financially since it's been built. Players - we've tried everything from hiring convicts to having no players at all to save wages. Selling sell on fees. Not been too successful and ultimately has lost the club fans. Managers - to be fair to him he's got it right once in a blue moon in this area, but recently he has made some right clangers. Investment - managed to get some money of Mike Ashley. Again this has really set us up financially hasn't it? What makes you think his trips to China are going to be any more successful than his recent record of great achievements? Finance - it's just not happening is it? We've got very few contracted players, we're owing for loan players and owing for ticket sales. All this whilst having the most lucrative sponsorship deal we've ever had and a fancy new stand that creates 24/7 revenue as long as its football related so its probably more like 8 hours every fortnight. If you can't see we're financially crippled then there really isn't any point trying to reason with you. Promotions (Tickets not actual real promotion to a different league) - OK you could say that he's put on some good promotions to entice fans back? What I'd say is that this has put further financial strain on the club and hasn't been thought out. You can't come up with an idea and then use it as an excuse as to why you can't pay people. The season ticket offer last year smacks of desperation to claw in funds. Again this really can't be proven, and no amount of questions on 'live' video will prove this, but reading between the lines surely you can see this isn't any way to run a successful football club. OAFC 5 Year Plan by S. Corney MISTAKE, MISTAKE, CUP RUN, MISTAKE, APOLOGY (but it wasn't me), SCANDAL, MISTAKE, SCANDAL, FINGER POINT, SACK MANAGER, FINGER POINT, MISTAKE, SCANDAL, LOSE MANAGER, SOCIAL MEDIA RANT (but it wasn't me), SACKINGS, SELL SOME LAND, LEND SOME MONEY FROM SCOUSERS, LOSE ANOTHER MANAGER, CUP RUN, FINGERS CROSSED, SCANDAL, POINT AND SACK SOMEONE, repeat until either bust or relegated x5 You can talk all you want about real life and things being delivered late, I know that I've worked at enough places where it has happened and I own my own business. If all we were grumbling about was a few delays then there wouldn't be anything to talk about would there. It's more than that, and if you can't seen that then you're just being an arse. It's got f all to do with the late opening of a stand, it's got everything to do with the collection of failures we've had over the last 3/5 years. You talk about how many people in their jobs have delivered something late because of somebody else? Maybe that's why you side with him? Maybe you're the kind of person who likes deflecting blame too? If I get asked to do something it either happens or it's my fault (at work, but don't ask the wife). I wouldn't point at somebody else.
  7. I'd like to nominate Vera Baird, Albert Frisby and Chris Dunphy. I'm sure they'd like to ask Corney a few questions on film.
  8. So because it's live means everything he says must be the truth? Are you for real? He can say anything he wants. He has just said he has been to China twice trying to get a financial banker. I can't say if that is true or not and neither can you. That is the point he sits in the driving seat. Whatever he says people like you will believe and take for gospel. People like prozac who have spoken at length to him in the past about things will not. Nobody wins, it's a completely pointless exercise. All he is trying to do is divide and conquer as opinions4u posted. The only real winner here is him, because he gets out his propaganda and there is no way you can put questions to him that can prove otherwise. He's obviously very good at deflecting blame. In his interview he talks about how common it is for clubs to pay late, just how common is it? I've only heard of it once in the news before. We played them less than 30 days ago so there must be some kind of rule as to how long you've got. Who are the other clubs? How much in total do we owe? No he wouldn't say that because he doesn't want to give too much away. The only time he comes out like this is when he is actually found out. He talks about finding money for the 300K wage and HMRC bill. So Rochdale and the other clubs aren't getting paid any time soon. He talks about finding funds for the manager. Does this come in front of paying our debts our behind? Listen to what he is saying as a whole rather than individual sound bites, it just doesn't add up. The reason why prozac and the others don't want to meet him isn't because they are scared it's because they have heard it all before. He is a bull:censored: merchant, who for the last 3 years has been making mistake after mistake and doing a really good job of saying "look I made a mistake but if it wasn't x,y,z it would have been fine." He moaned about the lack of money, and said that because of giving things back to the fans (cheaper season tickets) his choice, cheaper pay on the day (his choice), lack of product on the pitch (guess what, it's his football team), lack of fans (I'd stick that one firmly at his door too). He'll blame anyone and anything for our problems, and say anything to make it look like he's giving it a shot. Things have reached a breaking point now, and like somebody else has said talk is cheap. It's time for some action, a crappy video interview with 4 fans isn't going to solve anything really is it?
  9. The guys he has called out can't win, I don't blame them for not wasting their time. If they go it's basically their word against his, there is absolutely no positive outcome. They get into a slanging match and nobody comes out of it looking good. The usual rose tinted specs brigade on here will be lapping it up, an they'll get slagged off for disagreeing with our great leader. If they don't go which I completely respect them for, they get slagged off anyway. So as usual Corney deflects the blame onto other people. It isn't their fault he is running the football club like a rank amateur. It isn't their fault he doesn't pay people on time and he seems to think it's perfectly normal to do this. He only thinks its normal because he does it so often. Is it their fault that the club only had a handful of contracted people over the summer, whilst Corney though he'd done a great job saving a few months wages. The guy is an utter clown, and is turning the club into a circus. It's only going to end one way if he doesn't go soon. If you're blinkered enough to think he's doing a good job, don't slag people off for speaking their minds and not wanting to be spoon fed any more of his . I'd be interested to know how the Trust feel about Corney personally calling out fans on the internet. Did he seek advice on that one before hand, or did he just decide to throw that one in on the spur of the moment? Or is it the usual we can't disclose this information because it will spoil our great relationship with the club? It's a real shame because the people on here who post as trust officials do come across as really nice people, but it's just this kind of thing that the trust should be advising the club and leading on. To me it shows that the relationship the club has with the Trust is all one way. Corney does what he wants, when he wants, to who he wants. It's his club he can do that I guess, but it just shows he doesn't give a monkeys about our fans, other clubs, local businesses. The Trust need to get strong and start effecting some real change and make the fans feel like they have got at least some influence. The club can't continue getting things wrong, stumbling from one balls up to another and then brain-farting knee jerk videos like yesterday. It's not helping anyone.
  10. He was obviously thinking the same thing as Leeslover. It would be funny to see Pudseys head fall off. Luckily there is a fair bit of padding and Pudsey already has a bandaged eye so I didn't feel much. Because I couldn't see much I was being led around the pitch by somebody. I managed to keep hold of my head and we quickly moved away from the away stand.
  11. I was Pudsey that day. I remember getting punched by a Sheff U fan, but I didn't topple over. I couldn't see a thing and was very unsteady on my feet though. Getting dismembered by Chaddy really would have made my day.
  12. The two posts above your original reply said they weren't aware that there was a weekly emai sent out by the clubl. So are you asking for fans to send an email the club, asking to be included in an email they didn't even know existed? It's a great idea.
  13. Your argument fails because you have to use the word IF. I can use the word IS because he has been convicted as a rapist and so IS a rapist. No ifs needed.
  14. I've heard it's something to do with not enough fire exits being built in the stand.
  15. He's trying to get hold of a camping table so that the lads can eat their beans on toast on it.
  16. That's not what you originally said though was it? You took the piss saying his post meant ''Stop wasting your time trying to improve things and start improving things.' It was pretty obvious what he was trying to say. From your second reply it's pretty obvious you still haven't understood.
  17. It's not that difficult to understand is it? If your windows are leaking and your kitchen is in need of updating. It's pretty simple to see which would cause the most long term damage to your home. He's just pointing out rightly or wrongly he's focusing on the wrong area to improve. If you've 'been waiting' for that one then you need to have a bit of a longer think about it.
  18. Aaron I completely agree it has split opinion. But at no point has the club asked for opinion on what is a very emotive subject. They've also hinted that they have actually done this in the media. This decision has nothing to do with the fans. Its purely a desperate attempt to gain some money further down the line. I've got nowt against you, you're entitled to your opinion but don't try and say the club have taken the good people who have been supporting the club over the last 10+ horrible years thoughts into consideration.
  19. A club that don't respect or care about the opinions of its own. Including a fan on the board who is supposed to represent those fans. It won't be get my money or support.
  20. They've been drawing straws to work out who is going to do the statement. Unfortunately they didn't have any short straws and couldn't afford scissors. They're now asking the PFA to lend them some scissors. PFA scissors have been delayed and will now arrive tomorrow.
