It's not rocket science. The last time Hogan was suspended, he picked McGahey, and if my memory serves me correctly, McGahey stepped in at CB at Woking. He played pretty well, I seem to recall as well. I still maintain the belief that he's a fairly decent CB, and him being panned for his appearances in midfield is slightly harsh

I'm seriously impressed with what 5PM and Brabin have done. Brought in real quality and have set us up superbly. I'll be honest I thought the season was a write-off after Ebbsfleet put 4 past us but now I'm hoping for at least a top 3 finish. Still worried about a potential play off game at BP but last night showed we can step up and beat those near us in the league at home.

Bromley, for sure. They’ll best whoever they have to play at their community complex and then I think they have the players to see them over the line at Wembley. I wouldn’t fancy playing at Altrincham either. I also think Rochdale would beat us too which is embarrassing because they have about 9 players fit, but they’re a team that are up for the fight and we don’t have that. Say we did get to Wembley… I think the occasion would be far too overwhelming for the players. They struggle when OAPs get restless in the main stand, never mind a passionate end of Wembley.

I have seen nothing from this team to suggest it has the guile to go up via the playoffs.

I have been banging on about it for ages but this set of chancers are mentally weak as piss. It's going to take a long time to instill any sort of winning culture at this club and it will take longer than any other place because of how utterly turgid we have been for the last 30+ years. I genuinely have no idea when we'll go back up and I'm not sure it's going to happen anytime soon.
