Ehhh, nah. They were worthy of at least a goal, but they huffed and puffed and hammered us on the flanks. Strange pitch... the way Norwood went to hit his first chance he kind of weirdly kicked the turf that wouldn't have happened on grass. Solid 3 points. So many times have I seen us over the years huff and puff and then get rolled over by an opposition who nicked a goal. It was those sides that I normally saw make it to the playoffs as well. However, if we want to *win* the playoffs then, yes, improvement is needed. I'm sure some new signings will help the cause.

I just think mentally and psychologically we’re fucked as a club. Fans groan at not being full throttle against bin men up and down the land, fine.. but these are just average division 5 lads. They panic, shit themselves and fuck up. Bring in another player from other amateur institutions such as Altrincham or Gateshead, they too will crumble. They’re not mentally fit to do it at Boundary Park. They can’t do it at Boundary Park.

Just cold hard facts. We’re getting schooled by the mighty footballing institution that is Gateshead at home. They don’t have it in them. I don’t see much point in attending many more fixtures for this season.

This team, at present, just do not have the mental resolve to stage a successful play-off campaign. They crumbled at BP to *Ebbsfleet United* after the home faithful started to get agitated. We would no doubt lose the game at BP before ever making it to Wembley. Mellon looks to be the right man to finally achieve something at this football club in the 21st century. Finish strongly and aim for the title next year methinks.

I have literally wished you a merry christmas and now you’re being terribly unseasonal and rude. This is about the 5th time you’ve mentioned such luscious locks . Just checked the score, lol. The club should fold and become a community complex really. Seriously, what is the point if you can’t give Micklrover Rovers, or whatever they’re bloody called, a go. This is arguably the most humiliating result in the club's history. Sweeping it under the rug isn't the way to go about this. MM and his team need to figure out why our team crumble so easily when under the slightest bit of pressure.
