  1. I think it will stay cryptic it well tell us all to get to BP on Saturday because if we don't win we will be in the relegation zone...
  2. Yes gotta agree because mourinho is free in the summer and i believe redknapp might be on the look out.... get real... bottom half league 2 crowds bottom half league 2 budget Win our games in hand and we are top half league one...
  3. Congratulations on your win. I hope you go on to have as much success as the last team that beat us in a JPT final....
  4. Dont be silly!!! They have no chance of beating City..
  5. I was sat near the bench and they got the nod from the physio almost immediately after he went up the tunnel that he wouldn't be returning. They should have had a sub ready and messed around for another couple of minutes, no saying the goal wouldn't have happened anyway considering we spent the rest of the first half chasing shadows but it certainly didn't help.
  6. Brighton one chance?? They hit the bar in the 1st half and also at least two other chances just wide of the goal, we huffed and puffed and cannot fault the effort but they always looked likelier to score and we are toothless. Relegation dogfight and they game against Tranmere could now be really important.
  7. They wanted to merge it with south chadderton and it become a academy not sure if this is still on with the stop on the BSF Project.
  8. As supporters we don't know how much they save but it must be enough for them to make it worthwhile. Agree with your last point but as the likely scenario for that would be put the away fans in the chaddy i somehow think a lot of others wont be agreeing.
  9. Don't really get why some are getting so upset about it, i am a season ticket holder in the rochdale road end, only in there really because my kids have junior blues season tickets and that is only available there and the chaddy end. If the club were to extend that offer to the main stand i bet quite a few would move out and into the main stand. I know for certain i would. The only thing i am puzzled about is that Simon Corney said at the forum the other week they were going to offer reduced admission for that game using the TV revenue to cover some of the costs. I know we wont get the 8000 crowd again but if we were to get 5000-6000 this would cause chaos getting into the ground with only two stands open. Have they abandoned that idea now?
  10. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_forum Just in case you hadn't realised what this site is.
  11. Tarkowski for trotman he is not fit or good enough and not ours and if we are getting rid of feeney then take Reid with him that exscuse for an effort in the last minute was gutless and pathetic he is up there with our worst signings in the last ten years.
  12. Makes no difference at all unless the rule has been changed recently..It's happened on a few occasions in the past.
  13. It was handbags but right in front of the ref and he could have shown both of them red cards foolish and should have been saved for the dressing room
  14. There was talk of a new stadium in the industrial park near newhey/milnrow and a ground share i could see no reason then and still no reason why that wouldn't be a very good idea..
  15. Well use the full quote then ' in my opinion its going to be the most frustrating season watching latics in the last 25+ years.. ' If we miss out on the play offs by a couple of points I believe we will rue the games like today and exeter, i cant remember many other years were we have blown 3 goal leads and dropped points when winning and playing well on so many occasions
  16. Last year and come to think of it most of the last 15 years were s h i t e in general not frustrating The point i was trying to make was the amount of points dropped when dominating games this season could well cost us a chance of the play offs or looking at the table even automatic promotion, when i think we were are good enough to achieve both its not a great league and there is defiantly an opportunity to go up this year and thats what i consider frustrating. Saying we played well and dominated the games was a bit strong then??
  17. Thought we were excellent throughout the game far superior to carlisle and not for the first time i have come away from a game where we drew feeling like we lost, maybe its naivety, maybe its bad tactics, maybe its just players that are mentally not strong enough but i hope to god they sort it or in my opinion its going to be the most frustrating season watching latics in the last 25+ years..
  18. True, but it's a fair point he made work rate he wasn't anywhere near Taylor and both him and tonks were giving the ball away far too easily, I hope we keep him but not as a replacement for Taylor.
  19. he as a 50p head and foot never going to be a prolific goalscorer we really need to find someone for that role, shame feeney is out injured again as i think tonks needs a rest his 1st season and it looks like the amount of games is taking a toll.
  20. Christ.. thats a bit harsh on tonks isn't it.. ok he had is poorest game in a oldham shirt i just thought he looked tired, jaded but not interested you have to be joking..Amos and Taylor apart none of the others were on top of the game but a point away and 3 at home and we will be in the play offs.
  21. I have never managed a team but if i did and my team went one down and had strikers on the bench i would put them on before slinging a stiff at the back up front leaving us completely exposed for the 3rd time this season at the back.. i am not for one minute suggesting dickov out but he keeps saying the players are making the same mistakes then maybe he needs to take a look at himself
  22. At accrington i thought he was naive, at hartlepool i thought he was reckless and panicked, today i am sorry inept, clueless, incompetent and cost us the game, if he thinks kelly, feeney are not good enough to play up front ahead of two 100% centre halves then get rid dont stick them on the bench and put the kids there instead. Tactical suicide today... garbage in front of a big crowd again no wonder many stay away every week..
  23. my biggest complaint with the ref was the timekeeping, what happened to 30 seconds for a goal and 30 seconds for a sub it should have been a minimum of 5 minutes and if you include the delay in restarting the game nearer 7 minutes. City's heads and legs had gone at the end and we could have snatched a equaliser. Overall though a great game with some quality finishing from both sides and unlike the bully boy tatctics of sheffield wednesday in the last round played in the right manner..
