  1. the away following was 598, yes wasn't sure about taking abbot off but to be fair he did look knackered, the only change i would have made earlier was perhaps to bring worthington for furman (just to see if he performed against is old club) but no real criticism of penney tonight and also will say despite the low turnout i thought our fans were great,
  2. Think it was 589, really cant fault that performance tonight full of effort, we actually had a go at them and made them look second best, well done to penney for trying a new formation and putting players in there correct position!!!! I can accept defeat when we put in 90 minutes of graft, just wish we had been doing that every game this season.
  3. i agree with the words tomorrow, lose, i, think
  4. Kieran Lee for me, pav and millar played ok the rest of them useless
  5. then you heard wrong.. 1st half we played ok one down to a quality goal, 2nd half (was it another dave penney teamtalk?) they looked like 11 pissed up strangers who had met up for a pub team
  6. exactly right god awful game and two terrible teams..
  7. flahaven probably but then it would have been :censored: abbot and guy the 3 our clever manager decided to take off
  8. Think the most worrying aspect of this signing is that guy was one of dp's signings.. http://www.doncasterroversfc.co.uk/page/Ne...1994883,00.html
  9. Dale Stephens for me the one player that as shown massive signs of improvement this season and scored a great goal tonight.
  10. Its not the result that bothered me tonight, its is baffling substitutions and lack of plan b from penney, lomax (why is he not starting??) for furman who had a average game, this allowed :censored: who was abysmal to go into midfield were he continued to be abysmal, then eaves brought on, good i thought 3 up front but know he takes abbot off our only goal scoring threat in 2010, we never once pushed our midfield forward, in the last 5 minutes colbeck put a dangerous cross in and :censored: was on the half way line and stephens 10 yards in front of him. I am losing faith with him by the minute and struggling to see where we will get enough goals from to keep us up.
  11. Cant see a problem with the subs, taylor for the anonymous (again) whittaker, :censored: for stephens (he was one rash tackle from being sent off and was perhaps lucky not to go a minute before he was subbed) and abbott for parker (abbott was dead on his feet admittedly parker his not up to much but our forward choices are a bit limited). As for the tools who watched the game at the back(they don’t deserve to be called supporters) they should have been thrown out it not really worth criticising them much on here as i doubt they are capable of operating a keyboard and mouse to get on this site.
  12. Where are you sitting on Saturday? I just want to make sure i am as far away as possible from you at 3pm.
  13. Its been puring down in south manchester all afternoon
  14. I am with my two kids and despite the depressing bollocks on this site i am looking forward to it

  16. Thing is although the headline was misleading it was only a review of last nights action anyway, which in our current position is relevant.
  17. The reserves are playing tonight...they could make it up though Radio Manchester reported on monday morning that Rochdale Hornets won the Law Cup on Sunday beating Oldham 26-20 the match was actually called off and is taking place tonight.
  18. better team for 45 minutes, should have been 4-0 up at half time, but in 2nd half we were lucky it was 1-0
  19. it wont be waterlogged, the pitch has covers on, i believe the problem was that the covers were frozen to the pitch.
  20. dont know about this postcode drivel but kingsway is the perfect place for a new stadium, i am not against the use of a shared stadium for oldham and rochdale apart from pathetic prejudices against sharing the ground with a rival, i cant see any reason why this wouldnt be a perfect solution for both clubs.
  21. It was never intended to be used for 1st team rugby it was bought for a training ground and academy rugby and a decent HQ for the club. To be honest i am not sure if the rugby do own it as Bill Quinn was purchasing the ground but with the demise of his company and then selling his shares back to hamilton i dont think the sale ever went through.
  22. Fairly accurate.. http://www.roughyeds.co.uk/121109.htm sorry creepy didn't spot the link you had done..
