  1. I have a spare ticket for the awards dinner tomorrow night, £30. If you would like it, please reply here or pm me.
  2. There's still a few places left if any wishes to book a place.
  3. Boundary Blues are taking bookings now for our final away trip of the season to WALSALL on Saturday 2nd May. Last season, this was a great trip, with Walsall laying on football and a buffet lunch and we were invited into the Junior Saddlers' lounge where there was a tuck shop. Tickets can be bought from the Latics club shop, priced £12.50 members and £20.00 parents/guardians. We will be leaving at 11.15am.
  4. Lucy said she looks like 'that man off the car thing on the telly' We presume she means James May!
  5. Thanks everyone for attending last night, the kids seemed to enjoy themselves as usual! It was a shame the numbers were down on previous parties but we advertised it as much as we could so not much more we could've done to get kids there. I spoke to 2 dads whose kids had been picked out as mascots for next season, both were very happy and I think they are counting down the days until the fixtures come out! It's always the dads who are more excited about going in the dressing room before kick off than the kids :-) I can't believe my girl won a prize in the raffle and had pick of the table, she choose a cap

Also included in the price is food!! Tickets can be bought in the shop, or, you can now pay on the night. If you want me to reserve you a place, you can reply here or pm me.
  7. So that's the big news we've all been waiting for?!
  8. Just a reminder that tickets can be booked in the shop. Also, if any members haven't voted for the player of the season yet, please get your votes in before Saturday 11am. Another thing, we have lots of this season's gift left so lots of members haven't picked theirs up. These can also be picked up from the shop.
  9. Barrel of laughs Wilson is here to cheer us all up again!!
  10. We're not unfortunately, we have arrangments with certain other clubs in the league who also organise these trips for younger fans and it was agreed that this season there wouldn't be a trip between ourselves and Brighton.
  11. At least you get as far as the car park, mention supermarket to Dan and he starts to stare and shake!
  12. Bump! Just a reminder that you can buy tickets tomorrow from 2pm onwards in the club shop :-)
  13. Our End of Season Party will be on MONDAY 20th APRIL at St Annes Rugby Club, Higginshaw Road, 7-9pm. As usual, one lucky member will be chosen from the coach list to be the team mascot for the day! Tickets for both the party and the away trip can also be booked on Saturday, prior to the Peterbrough game, in the Latics shop.
  14. That's what he did at Crewe that time isn't it?!!!!
  15. I'm surprised and shocked that there doesn't appear to be an 'x' at the end of that!!!!
  16. As far as I'm aware, we've not had any warnings yet and will only get one if the ref thinks one is needed. Most supporters at BP now know that we use the multiball system and are aware that the ball should be thrown to a ball boy and not onto the pitch, however, you always get one who hasn't read the program / tried to hear the PA system! We try to make as many people aware of the reasons behind multiball and they way it operates but unfotunately you can never communicate the message to everyone. If away fans threw the ball onto the pitch at every chance they got, it would still mean a warning and a fine for us. The ball boys know the rules and have done a good job so far, the people who would cost the club are the supporters who are trying to help the game along.
  17. I hope she never gets to see any of her children ever again, she doesn't deserve to be a mother. It's a privilege to be a parent and bring kids up, why do some people insist on dragging theirs up? I knew she wasn't right when the poor kid went missing and the mum was pictured carrying crates of beer into the house. Low life scum who should rot!! Right, I'll get off my soap box now!!!
  18. If you are a member of Boundary Blues, the membership gift for this season was a scarf. If you haven't collected your scarf yet, all you need to do is produce your membership in the club shop and you'll be given your free scarf :-)
  19. I too missed the Simon Charlton goal, I think I was still in the Boundary Blues lounge under the Lookers. I also missed loads of goals when my daughter couldn't last more than 20 mins without needing a wee :-)
  20. It costs more to keep the 4 year old in pies than it does to get her in the ground!
  21. Completely agree! It's all about priorities for most people. If I didn't have a pass for home games, I wouldn't go to all of them simply because I couldn't afford it. I don't work at the moment so my other half is supporting the family and paying all the bills and that is our priority at the moment, we are lucky in that we are not struggling but I can imagine the mortgage companies faces if we ever said 'sorry we've not paid this month, we spent £80 getting into 2 Latics home games, £20 on pies, £6.00 on programmes and £60 on 2 full kits for the kidlets for Christmas plus the £60 we spent on the away game' :-)
  22. No, why should I have to pay to go to work? I pay my taxes and expect the towns to have good transport links to the city without having to cough up more than I already do.
  23. Exactly - what more could they want?!! If you have not yet collected your membership gift for this season, we will have some with us on the night so just let us know!
  24. Tickets will be on sale tonight in the club shop from 7.15pm until 7.40pm.
