    A draw a fair result.Lafferty,Coleman,Kelly,Palmer had decent games.Main was a bit isolated at times,with the benefit of hindsight playing two up top might've given us greater reward today. Loved the scenes in the away end though after we'd scored!

    Solid enough,Wilson much better when he was moved to ctr half from right back.Hopefully Gerrard won't be out too long though as we need his vocal support to the back four.

    Wilson got turned too easily by Wildschut on two or three occasions,though didn't have a bad game by any means.Dieng looked very classy today with several important interceptions and headers won.

    Very solid away performance.Had the better chances even with one up top.Dummigan,Dieng,Holloway and Palmer were very impressive.

    Seven Stars pub just past Wigan Pier has been knocked down. Wallgate where the two train stations are has a few decent pubs on it,Berkeley,Moon Under Water and Little 15(expensive but a nice bar)are good.Swan and Railway and The Raven are typical old bloke pubs.If you like your real ales there's a new place called Wigan Central which is just on your left as you walk under the railway bridge by North West station.

    He was one of those Hungarians from MTK Budapest we had on loan through the link Corney had set up.From memory only the striker Fischer? made an appearance for the first team.

    With Murphy's good positional sense and with the right service I think he'd make the perfect striking partner for Higdon in a 2 man strike force,picking up on the big man's flick ons with his intelligent runs and movement.However,I think Higdon will have gone back to the Blades and Murphy sold for a nominal fee in January.

    Well said that man.For some people it's the easy and lazy option to blame the manager and formation rather than look a bit more into why we didn't win.
