    I think certain players played the way they wanted not as regimented. After down a man Dallas played a free number 10 role similar to Haughton of Fylde and no is telling me that was on the instructions of MM. Dallas should be given that role in future and Gardner relished his central attacking so keep him there.

    I think I've spotted why we are underperforming. After going down to 10 men the players unleashed the shackles and played the they wanted, not Mellon and Brabin's. Gardner and Dallas were prime examples. This indicated to me the players don't like being pressured to play a style of football they dislike. Mellon and Brabin must give the players freedom to express themselves or IMO things will get worse

    Mellon and Brabin should be at the youth team match today v Walsall (11am Chapel Road) If not and they come up with some excuse it's shows a complete disregard to our young lads. They'd see a different type of football though from a coach who had got them playing on the front foot with pace, skill and enthusiasm.

    The most important thing is actually scouting players currently playing exceptionally well, even at a lower level. Players have been signed who haven't played for a long time on past reputation and that IMO is where the recruitment went wrong.

    Wasn't well enough to go so paid to watch it on TV. I wish I'd stayed in my sick bed with the TV off and the lights out.

    I'm posting on twitter because of the trolls on here, it's less personalised on there I've found. Anway I've got flu and so has my wife and I've lost any interest in the next game - which I won't be attending. Incidentally, England were very good apart from a couple of mistakes I thought last night.

    I'll accept an apology from him, but doubt it will be forthcoming. BTW your namesake knew exactly how to hit an high ball, he didn't just lump it aimlessly it was designed to panic the opposition coming down at them from a great height. One of my fav Latics players.

    It's difficult I know but maybe 442 attacking; Instructions, compete, pass, move, create, score goals. Hudson Sachdev Sutton Raglan or Hobson Kitching Atherton Gardner Conlon Walker Fondop Garner or Norwood.

    That's an out and out lie and you should apologise. I have never sent him an email nor will. I scouted on an unpaid voluntary basis when approached and at 79yo have no wish now to do so for this or any other manager. Before you post you need to remember the libel laws.

    Single camera or not I think everyone watching the Aldershot match knew exactly how the match played out and individuals performed.

    Its not his past record that's in question it's his turgid tactics, even if we get promotion I wouldn't want to watch this as the standard we can expect. We have a budget better than most so why not use it on attacking crowd pleasing football rather than this 7 at the back hoofball?

    Watched both games live on National TV. Fylde out ran us whereas Aldershot was worse for me due to the total inability of the players to pass the ball to each other. He's a good lad Is @rudemedic we have many a good chat during home matches. I Watch full replays too of other matches and the Curzon Ashton centre back Devon Matthews has impressed me, he looks higher league bound. Not to us though as we already have enough I think.

    Think I might have mentioned him before. Alfie Atherton, the one who tore apart Manchester United u21s and scored in the recent arranged match and the best prospect I've seen in many a long year. Could be EPL bound before MM gives him a chance though, his performance wouldn't have gone unnoticed by United.

    If off more time in training for MM to perfect his 7 at the back and encourage the players to constantly hoof the ball into touch rather than straight to the opposition. The logic is if we keep the ball from being in play for 80 minutes there's less chance of conceding goals. That's what Baldtick told me was his cunning plan anyway.

    My line up would be 442 with 2 wingers including one from the youths as I think he's good enough.
