The Swad ski slope wasn't as grand as the Tamworth one. It was more like a tatty bit of carpet draped over an old slag heap. Seriously!!

You have my sympathies. I played most of my football in that area. I t certainly taught me how to look after myself and it's probably why I used to be pretty quick!! Is the dry ski slope still there? If you don't know, Diego will.

Yes, I remember reading somewhere that "Raging Bull" was born in Antwerp. I think it was Dougie Anderson who was born in Hong Kong. Also, and this could well have been a wind up, but in one profile I read on Rodger Wylde, it said he was born in NEW YORK!!

Vic Halom came from Burton on Trent. That's not a foreign country!!! However, if he came from Swadlincote, then he'd be "foreign"!!!

Thailand would be good! Notts County came over a few years ago (when "Big Sam" was boss) so it's not always the glamour teams that come to these parts. We had C*ty and B*lton 2 or 3 years back.
