  1. Hold on, 4 mil is 4 mil no matter where it gets pumped into the club? How could it be anything but a good thing? And the likelyhood is that it would certainly ease the majority of our problems! I think it is very much a wait and see who City get in, if appears that it may become a bit of a debacle I'm sure no self respecting potential England regular will hang around, cue one of the 'big 4'
  2. What I don't understand is just why people focus so much on his passing and crossing abilities when first and formost he is a right back, one of the best in the league and also regarded as one of the best for his country. I for one feel that we are lucky to have such a good youngster who playing from right back manages to get themselves into those positions where they can knock a cross in because we certainly haven't had the balance of a right winger out there for the majority of the season. I sincerley hope that the people who gripe about Eardley are not these who bemoan us selling off players like Trotman, Philliskirk et al as that would be sheer hipocrasy! Get behing the lad, he's the best prospect I've seen at BP for years and is clearly an integral part of the team! I for one don't want to go back to the days of rob Scott and Terrible Forbes who looked shakier than a parkinsons sufferer riding a penny farthing along a cobbled street! Finally, how did Clegg ever play in Europe?? to be fair he had his best ever game in the disaster of an FA cup game against Blackpool and started looking like a half decent footballer then we got rid? Bizarre!
  3. and a keeps! the squad is looking very solid and the unexpected blooding of the younsters serves us well for next season. Depending on who is retained not many new faces will be required therefore more stability. Next season will be a good un. i can feel it
  4. The Wolf just sn't good enough unfortunatley, time to let the lad. Very little impact when he comes on, ok a few nice touches and he is 'nippy' but there is just not enough to his all round game to warrant another season. Alas his lack of physical presence is proving to be his downfall. This Grady lad sounds like he might be in a similar mould to that of Robertson who looked useful in his short spell, definately worth a punt and should be a similar impact wage wise to Wolfy. We have to be bold to progress, there is no place for sentiment in this game.
