  1. what about the New Moston End? not got the same ring to it eh!
  2. should have been given a chance, never was...by any manager. Criminal
  3. Ogrady wouldn't have wanted to come back here and what good would have been if we forced him? just another player who wouldn't interested. There was only one thing happening there and I'd have done the same.
  4. wouldn't happen if the seating rules were enforced
  5. exactly and tranmere themselves haven't played since th 3rd Jan so no excuses in my book re match fitness. We should have been better than them. End of!
  6. Yeah but we aren't are we and historically we haven't been a top tier club. You can constantly spout your clap trap about how X Y and Z is turning our club into a laughing stock but to date you have not come up with one intelligent suggestion as to how to arrest the continued decline. I don't give a stuff if it isn't your job to do this but you seem no better than anybody else however you type you gibberish from up in your ivory tower and offer no constructive solutions whatsoever. I can come on here all day saying that a 12000 seater capacity stadium is not going to see us compete and how teams which in theory should be performing to a lesser extent than ourselves are laughing at us like you do. I fail to see how you can regurgitate the same sentiments without one jot of input as to how we can better our position and be so pious about the matter. Come on Corp what can YOU do for Latics other than comment that the actions of others are inadequate. Anybody can consistantly poo poo actions but it takes a real person to put something positive forward. Oh, and don't get me wrong, I am far from a happy clapper and do not like what I see is happening at the club but at least I'm not repeatedly banging the same tired old drum!
  7. sorry BP I don't agree, the game just simply bypasses the middle two, they look well out of their depth. The centre pairing is a big problem
  8. I wouldn't fancy it on gregan much
  9. 2nd game back from a lengthy time out... give the lad a break. His football seems to be a bit smarter from what I have seen over the last 2 games. Perhaps the body lanquage is frustration at a lack of fitness which is glaringly obvious.
  10. Midfield is the problem, Leeds bossed it in the middle passing in triangles - Purdie had better be one hell of a player
  11. If Brill isn't big enough to pick himself up after this then he should be out. 'confidence player' is just an excuse for behaving like a big tart. DP can't mother him for the rest of the season. he needs to work hard and concentrate on where he is going wrong. Collett should take a long hard look at himself also. A lot of people on here criticised Crossley, what I'd give for a keeper that consistant now
  12. I personally don't think the picture proves a great deal, as a piece of evidence it isn't the best however what the majority of people do seem to be agrreing on is the fact that yet again the wall was poorly positioned, the keeper was poorly positioned and there was far too much goal to aim at. This keeper is an utter liability in these situations. the fact that time and time again this season he has been found wanting in these dead ball situations. We need to ditch the goalkeeping coach as he is clearly not doing the job which he is paid to do and can Brill. i've given him time and he is just not up to it, sorry Dean it is nothing personal but you are simply not worth the wage nor good enough for the shirt
  13. And another. No club in a similar town has fared all that much better for attendances than we have after being on its ars- for more than a decade. There's a reason why crowds at BP trebled in the early 1990s. No prizes for guessing what it was. giving a manager and the side some time to become compettitive rather than demanding being top of the league in the 2nd week in September?
  14. Err Corp, I know loads of people which aren't Oldhamers but support Latics. I didn't know that the support for a team was confined in that way? I'd better go and watch City play Wolves at the weekend.
  15. Substance with an 'm' but deep down I think you knew what I meant. What kind is mine might I ask?
  16. Exactly. I would be much more satisfied if anything the Corp actually posted had some sumbstance behind it. If there was something constructive to read then that would be infinately better than the tin pot club, scaled down plans, constant decline stuff which is seen. I have no problems with posts of this nature if they have some credibility
  17. Yes because the stadium scores the goals which get you promoted. I've got a great idea, why don't we build a stadia with the capacity of 200,000 and be the best team in England
  18. Yes because the stadium scores the goals which get you promoted. I've got a great idea, why don't we build a stadia with the capacity of 200,000 and be the best team in England
  19. it wouldn't be a deteriorating stadium would it though eh Corp? It would be nice and new and shiny, ooh there's a positive
  20. Some crystal ball that you have their. So you know for a FACT that this is what would happen? I presume that any false dawns which you refer to may be top half/play off spot finishes. Would that be an error on the clubs part by perhaps being a little bit too successful which they do not want to happen as they would much prefer a stagnant, oops sorry a declining lower league football club?
  21. so, if we get relegated and then come up again what would that mean corp?
  22. Jeez corp, every thread i read has your mind numbing drivel on it! I'm sure the owners have sacked managers and signed players to....wait for it...just stay in the same position. Yeah that's it?
