  1. But the ball couldn't roll hence the postponement. The ball not rolling leads to higher chance of mistimed dangerous challenges. Also not being able to see the lines is an issue
  2. I cant believe anyone is suggesting that was anything other than a great goal.
  3. Her paying 11 quid is better than her staying at home though
  4. Thats part of his game/character. Its that edge that makes him such a good player
  5. Hughesy's booking was one of the most obvious you will see but that came from the fact that he was being fouled all the time with absolutely no protection from the ref
  6. He was absolutely :censored:e last night. Forgetting any bias when Liddell was on the floor clutching his head, the ref had a look and let them play on a while before stopping play. I'm not bothered he missed the incident cos so did everyone else. But not to blow up immediately for a head injury was absolutely disgusting
  7. There man touching the ball doesn't make a difference. I struggle to understand how he was offside though
  8. No Paddy I think you were right. We shoulda dropped Hughesy, how many chances did he waste tonite
  9. Its only a a week since we got a good point against Leicester. I was happy with both the result and performance in that game
  10. When I spoke to my mate at half time who was at the game he told me we were by far the better team. Not spoke to him after the game but he didn't think we deserved to be behind
  11. And as for Talk Sport I think they've lost the plot recently. This morning they were discussing Joey Barton and Andy Townsend was suggesting he shouldn't necessarily be given another chance and that it would only happen in football. This is something they have spoke about a lot this week. Yet the same people are happy to work with Stan Collymore and big him up like he's a saint. This is the same Stan Collymore who beat his bird up.
  12. It would certainly shut the fat bastard up
  13. I cant imagine him havin a wife worth bonin to be honest
  14. How would you find such a website? It could explain why Asians have larger families, in case of having to sell them in times of recession
  15. I'd sooner have o'Grady than Davies. Based on O'Grady holds up play very well, is strong and keeps the ball. Davies can look dangerous but he doesn't do it often enough for me
  16. Have you ever seen them play? They are in no way similar players
  17. That was the biggest game in our history hardly a comparable situation
  18. Hey take it easy Guernica. The X-factor can be a good distraction after a :censored: latics performance.
  19. My other half used to come every game with me and it never really bothered me apart from Scunny away with Gary Macs equaliser. All my mates were on pitch and every time I stood on the barrier I felt a hand pull me back, apparently she was doing it for my own good. For money reasons she doesn't come any more, and the beer and lads banter is definitely the best option
  20. I don't blame him for fridays defeat as we conceded 3 sloppy goals but he was pretty much ineffective weren't he?
  21. Not sure how quick he is but he is certainly strong and holds the ball up well. Thats his game and I thought he did it well last night.
