It's nothing new to me that Spotland has once again failed to get a game on. I couldn't even tell you how many Rugby League games have been called off at the slightest drop of rain. They seem to know exactly whether the pitch is playable when it comes to rugby, but they seemed desperate to avoid calling this one off. Wonder why that is.

It's been a positive start to the season and we are still unbeaten, people may have been positive in pre-season last year but it wasn't a great start to the year with 2 draws and 2 losses in the first 4 games. I'm not getting carried away but we have played some good stuff and I really don't think today's game means we are suddenly the same as last year.

Yes but when you think about how last season went, surely you can forgive people for getting carried away.

But obviously people will blame the manager when we are watching the same :censored: every week, last season we couldn't put it down to an off day. This season we have had a good start, there is no way you can disagree that we have played some good, exciting football in the first 3 games, I went to Charlton and we really deserved to win the game. Today should be put behind us as a bad day at the office, the first 3 games were nothing like we played today.

Surely them getting in our faces and forcing us to long ball is classed as them doing their homework. I'll tell you why people aren't blaming the manager this season, it's because the football we have played in the opening 3 games has been good, last season it was dreadful. The Yoevil game couldn't be described as an off day last year because it was like that every week, the way we have played in the last three games wasn't anything like today. And just another thing, maybe Penney did bring Brill in, but how well did he perform for the majority of last season compared to how he has started this season.

I don't see any real reason to be disappointed tbh, we have had 3 good games to start the season off and we have to be realistic and understand that this young team isn't going to play teams off the park every week. Let's just put this off day behind us and move on to Bristol next week, if we can beat them it will hopefully take us into the Peteborough game with our confidence high.

Interestingly we made the play-offs in 2002-03 and then 4 seasons later in 2006-07, its now four seasons on in the 2010-11 season. Is this a sign? Are we heading for the play-offs again? It's enough for me anyway, this has to be our year now!

I was laughing at Robbie Savage arguing with callers on Five Live while I was on the coach home on Sat, he was furious with West Ham fans who thought it was acceptable to boo Carlton Cole and eventually got fed up and said "you don't half get some knobheads on this show" I wouldn't mind seeing him on Match of the Day on a regular basis.

That's exactly what I was thinking when I read the first part, walking around the ground on Saturday it's not an awful lot better up there. I thought I had walked into the middle of a Zombie Apocalypse with all the run down shop and flats.

I can only imagine he has posted his report to last seasons game a little late, either that or he is an extremely bitter Charlton fan that thought they would roll us over.

695. As happy as we all are having seen what the team can do, all the stayaways will only be looking at results and we're going to need a couple more before they start to stand up and take notice. They'll be back if we keep playing well.

Just got back and I have the biggest smile on my face right now, what a change from last season! We put some really good passing moves together in the first half but the tempo slowed for a while and they got on top slightly and should of took their chances, we just needed Furmans super goal to get us back into our stride and we looked good for the rest of the first half, the passing before Furmans goal was as good as the finish itself, nice one touch passing. The second half started slowly and they had another couple of chances and must have had about 15 free kicks in the match, Tounkare's goal was really good, nice pass from Lee and a good finish. Same with the Lee goal he started the move and finished it. Thought County looked fairly poor and I never thought we would loose the game even when they had a good spell up our end. Feels good to be top of the league, even if it is after two games!

It's shocking that there seemed to be no mention of it on ITV before the match tonight, there are things that are far more important than football and for all the focus to be on 'will England get booed tonight' when a young man who has just lost his fight against Cancer is shocking. R.I.P Adam

I think it was the Scotland flag that said 'Wee Jocks Barmy Army' on it, not sure if there is a picture anywhere but I spotted it on the highlights.
