    1-0 Latics, Brooke scored but sounds like he has a serious injury. Hopefully it isn't bad. EDIT: Brooke has gone off and it does sounds serious, just great, he scores his first goal of pre season and then get's injured with a week to go.

    Alec, if you wanted to ask this question you may as well have asked it three games a go, our position is no worse than it was then. We have just played the top three teams, not bottom.

    It was fairly apparent the guy couldn't give a f*ck after his reaction, just walking to the side and pulling up his socks. If Abbot had have missed that chance he would have been going crazy at himself.

    OAFCMIKE, do you follow Oldham? We have a good young side, for once we have young Oldham lads who WANT to play for this town. It was a good effort to get a bonus point away at Leigh and Rochdale was a scrappy game but they got the 3 points. I thought both teams didn't look great at Hunslet on Sunday, some bad defence allowed them a couple of tries to win it near the end.

    I agree some of the above, what's the point in having a squad if you can't pick any 11 players out of it and use them. Who exactly has the right to decide what is Mick McCarthy's strongest team.
